Premium "Silenced" Guerrilla squads

If you buy one of the Premium silenced Guerrilla squads like the Stg 44, Ppsh-41 or Thompson, do the Guerillas come with the same large ammo pouch and 5 TNT charges like the TT variant?

As the pouch is part of the guerrilla class the pouch should also be also included. I dont know why it shouldnt be and havent heard anything contrary to it so far which people certainly would have complained about.

So you are basically just buying the silenced gun and locked to that BR?

No. They have all those 5 tnt charges

Thank you…is that one worth it?

The squad alone is cool looking, with unique StG weapon with all guerrilla “goodies, bits and that and that ect”, and on paper should be deadly - sadly, they just disappear in intense BRV battles, they quickly melt away like snow, without them having done anything good.

Thanks, I’ll save my money and use TT ones.

Well, actually, this is a pretty insane combo squad when you look at it - we have StG in grey zones with 5 tnt! - But like I said, it is insane on paper raw stats - but the problem is precisely the BRV narrative in which they are. You end up using them just like regular assault squad (meaning the chaotic and endlessly intense map movement and action in BRV) and therefore you put yourself at a huge disadvantage by doing that and the potential of this squad remains untapped.

In some plays they work, but it’s rare.

I like both the Stg44 and Thompson Guerilla squads because they carry an ammo bag plus you can carry a secondary weapon, so even more additional ammo at your disposal. I guess I didn’t know these were back up for sale since I already have them both and they don’t show up for me. I did buy the German MP-40 / 1 squad because, why not. I am already over stacked in BR2 with premium squads so why not add another.

I know the feeling, I’m just debating on the Stg one because of the silencer and camo…as the rest is just the TT…I’m thinking I would just use it as an Assault squad minus the Engineer since it’s locked at BR5. Never really played Guerillas that high.

IMOP the Dev’s shoot themselves in the foot by locking weapons because I am sure there are a lot of people who won’t buy because they don’t like the weapon, or are like me over stocked already with premium and event squads at certain BR levels. With the Germans, I have way too many BR 2 and BR 5 premium squads, so, I am much more picky at what I buy now. Gaijin would sell more if they unlocked them, however, I have questioned Gaijin’s business sense on many occasions and that won’t change anytime soon unless they change. Or they ban me from the forum. :joy: I’m taking a three day trip to a neighboring Island so no more from me till Monday.

Totally agree…learned that with the FNAB squad. I love my silenced MP40 squad so was thinking the Stg…but like you stacked ar those 2 BRs. It’s funny as the Allieds are stacked at 2 and 3 but not much higher.Soviets are 2 and 5…Japan needs help everywhere. It’s weird how they do it.

Pretty much my entire BR1 and BR2 Allie squads are premium, and half of my BR3. I have the FNAB squad, and I love the FNAB but it shoots so damn slow that you lose 90% of the confrontations when you simultaneously engage an enemy smg because no matter who you face, Soviets or Allies their SMG’s put out far more lead. Plus, against Allies your not only dodging twice the lead, but 8.2 damage as well. I and many have called on Gaijin to increase the FNAB ROF, but like the majority of request, Gaijin just ignores them. I would love to see the FNAB have the same ROF as the PPS-42, which is 600 base and 690 max. If it were that, I would use it in several squads. Currently my FNAB squad uses backup weapons, so the FNAB hardly gets used. If unchanged, the FNAB should be a BR1 smg.

I totally agree…or at least let the “collector” squads with TT weapons swap them out. Baffling.

All guerillas are silenced after you shoot them. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I mean the stg44 is pretty accurate so from my experience it is pretty good. Cant say about the other gun tho. But i mostly use them for more silver anyway.

Ya, but I already have a lot at BR5 so debating if it’s worth the $

Not really. They work quite well. This squad is exceptional in matches where your team dominates. As you can push further into the gray zone and rack up more kills for yourself = more silvers/exps and score for events.

That being said, assuming you have all 12 squad slots available, there’s literally no reason not to include this squad in your lineup.

The only downside compared to tech tree guerrillas is slightly lower mobility, since you only have 16 mobility perk points. (Each perk point also slightly increases your sprint speed. Not many people actually take this into account.)

Nice. To each his own. But for events, one way or another, one use the “toxicity tactic” - of using any and similar squads just for the farming process. - But I try to use them more behind enemy lines to terrorize grey zone campers, and do all sorts of “wtf style diversions” using their original intended purpose. The only problem is that BRV is not suitable for that at all. In BRV, no one sits in the grey zones too much anyway. I’d rather take my Engy event squad full stacked with StG’s. They are much more useful in BRV, where you can create any traps or direct rally points anywhere, + fully automatic fire support, which brings all those desired xp/silver results after battle and also wins battles. - But if the squad slot is not a problem, you can add them, it will be better than worse for goofing around
