So we have here new evidence of produce of PPD BRAMIT

The issue of the developer of the jamming device for the SVT-40 remained unresolved. By design, the muffler for the SVT-40 bears no resemblance to the Bramit device, which means that the authorship of Ivan Grigoryevich Mitin is not obvious on this basis. However, as follows from the published biographical data of I.G. Mitin, in 1938-41 he developed PBS for the Tokarev submachine gun (PPT “Bramit”), Degtyarev submachine gun (PPD “Bramit”) and Tokarev SVT self-loading rifle. At that time, he was imprisoned for anti-Soviet activities and worked in the Ostekhburo of the NKVD of the USSR, leading a group working on silent weapons. Nothing is known about other silent weapons development centers in the USSR… This makes it likely that the described silencer is attributed to Mitin’s authorship. Whether this is actually the case remains to be seen. In any case, the topic of the history of the creation of domestic PBS cannot be considered closed.
From Kalashnikov magasine:

And here we have in a biograhy of BRAMIT silencer author:
(read it youself - https://militera.lib.ru/bio/0/pdf/kozlov_sg01.pdf)

With the Germans approaching Moscow and the evacuation of many defense enterprises from the city to the east, I.G. Mitin was transported to a special prison at the Kazan Plant. Lenin, where he works in the famous OTB-40. Work on the jamming device “BRAMIT” was actively continued. By 1944, the Red Army had adopted the BRAMIT devices for the 7.62mm rifle of the 1891/1930 model, the 7.62mm self-loading Tokarev rifle, the 7.62mm Degtyarev light machine gun and the BRAMIT and BRAMIT PPT samples.
Transferred to special forces units, these units worked for almost two years on the fronts of the Patriotic War and in partisan detachments. "Soundless-

In 1942, he reported from Bryansk forests to his superiors
: "Send devices for silent shooting to bullets, SV-40, PPD and PPSh submachine guns, as well as cartridges for them. The effect of them here is huge. The railway section is being cleaned-
