This weapon has very poor damage attenuation, I would rather use the PPD-34 (25) to compare with it, because it cannot compare to any Soviet Br2 submachine gun .Even the truncated version of ppsh41 has much better data than it, and PPS-42/43 is far better than PP Shpitalniy 1943.I can only consider this gun as an optional replacement for the PPD-34 in BR1 in the future, otherwise who would have a good weapon without using a bad one?
If you can count, this gun requires 5 bullets to hit the chest at a distance of 40m to kill a person. Compared to the BR2 submachine gun and the BR1 ppd34, it has no advantage at all
Okay, it seems that the people on this forum are not sensitive to numbers. I overestimated your abilities Let me give you an analogy. If a person can use this gun to carry out a massacre, then he will use PPD34 to kill you all without leaving a trace , because killing with this gun can be considered humiliating
With it’s low damage beyond 10 meters, it wouldn’t even be good at BR1. It’s range is 10 meters or less, beyond that range, throwing rocks would do just as much damage. With the PPS-42 and PPS-43, why would anyone us it?
Out of 21 votes, more than half of the people expressed their unwillingness. I thought about it and wondered if there should be a more detailed voting process in the future. I wanted to know exactly how many of them were from the Soviet faction. I thought if I were in the German faction, I wouldn’t want to see my enemy having a better gun. If he were even worse, it wouldn’t pose a greater threat to my future battles. But the problem is that all the people who use this golden gun have paid for it. I don’t want to focus on buying something completely useless.
it’s a flavor weapon, doesn’t necessarily mean it should be good, it would be a very cool pistol slot weapon but as an smg it’s meh, i just put it as decorative PDWs for pilots
The previous Soviet Kinalak submachine gun had a 94-round magazine called Poposha, also known as Shpitani. Both of these were designed by the same person. This gun is the third submachine gun designed by this designer in the game. However, it was obviously poisoned.
After a long wait, it was finally the turn of the Soviet Pass weapon, but the damage at 100 meters could drop to 1.3. In the game, even pistol bullets deal more damage than it. I can’t accept this. I think the damage must be increased.
Like how often do you even shoot an smg at 100m? Until 45 ish meters it should still 3 hit kill like any other smg.
Given how many maps are just based around kicking in doors at almost point blank range the damage fall off should not be such a big issue.
Are you complaining because you want to use that gun at 100m range or just because how dare the devs implement a ussr gun with a downside instead of powercreeping it entirely?
I think it is pretty much a given that die hard faction mains will always vote for or against weapons based on how they perceive it effecting them personally on the battlefield. So, if they are a German main, they are most likely going to vote NO on everything Soviet or Allied mains request, and vice versa. No one likes to give up their battlefield advantages, however good players shouldn’t be worried about the battlefield being equal.
After playing it I agree it would be very good as a side arm, even as current stats. Its infact same physical size as Yazikov, and only clip size makes it stand out in any fashion.
Outside of that I think its completely fair BR1, fun if not outstanding in BR2 and obviously forgettable in any higher tier.
A submachine gun can fire up to 100 meters. Is there anything it can’t do? If the weapons of your own country deteriorate to this pathetic state, I wonder if you would still accept it. You’d probably act all nonchalant and indifferent. This time, the weapons on the pass will be completely useless! DF is just playing around with us. Who can use this thing to deal damage? Even something as poor as PPD 34 is not up to par.You think df is so responsible? Well, people just fill in the values with their feet. They made a weapon that was extremely poor quality. This isn’t something unprecedented.
If I were in charge at Gaijin, I would just chop the magazine to 15 rounds and put it in the pistol slot. To be honest it has pistol hit power as it is, and it would still be inferior to the Yazikov as a pistol. As an smg IMOP it is unusable, I will only use it as a pilot’s back up weapon, and even as a backup weapon pretty much every smg is a better option. If you’re using it over ten meters, it takes almost a whole magazine to kill someone.
You’re absolutely right. That’s exactly the problem. Those who are opposing this don’t even know about this information—they’re just opposing for the sake of it. It’s infuriating.
