I often have to equip both tankers with smoke grenades whenever they need to get out. But usually, one crew is killed before I get a chance to pop smoke. Could tanks automatically come with 2 or 3 smoke rounds? Also, is there a way I can just have 1 crew exit instead of both?
The method for 1 crew exiting, is to leave the tank at the start and order your squad into it. Then only one crew will exit instead.
That seems like an unfinished feature. But generally, ability to pop smoke without exiting would make tanking more playable and historically accurate.

Not all tanks had deployable smoke, but it’d be a cool feature for tanks with smoke launchers
I think they are referring to smoke rounds fired from the barrel, which not all tanks had but more tanks had it than smoke launchers.
that’d be a cool addition, having more than 2 shell types per tank would be cool and Smoke/White Phosphorus rounds would be a useful support tool, especially on invasion.

would really appreciate it. Multiple games now where i ask for a smoke so i could repair my tank but get no smoke.
