I think i speak on the behalf of a lot of players both old and new that its a bit absurd that old legacy squads some mundane and some not that only those that were lucky enough to be active at the time could have access to some of the coolest squads in the game, especially for Italy and UK Factions, now you cany access them at all either, I think some time very soon, old legacy squads in all forms for all nations should be put into the store for people to purchase. or add legacy squads as a reward or somethnig for achievements or in the battle pass perhaps idk how just give us a chance to get them. do you agree?

Germany has more legacy squads because of the old campaign system - it would be inevitable to add more squads instead of simply getting access to the old squads. All things considered, as someone who actually has multiple vehicle squads I think it is terribly unfair to only have access to the couple of squads that new players have, coupled with the fact that gold order tanks are completely gone and BP vehicles are only skins … this entire change was dumb.
Getting back old legacy squads will never happen until Gaijin stops treating them like they’re rare earth treasurers. Gaijin needs to understand that Legacy squads are completely “WORTHLESS” outside of this video game. They also need to understand that legacy squads only have value while Enlisted has a strong player base, and that player base in my opinion is only going to decline as time goes on. So, if they want to make money, they have the legacy squads which have been HIGHLY in demand, or are they just going to let them wither on the vine till they are worth nothing? I don’t have huge hopes for the leadership making the right decisions.
Polls when it comes to legacy squads will do no good since the leadership seems to lack business sense.
I have learned that when they do popup for sale, better get them and no delay. They do come a few times every battlepass but no rhyme or reason to when they appear
This could have serious potential imo, as i kjow gaijin already sell “packs” of premium soldiers on rotation but usually only one or two squads in these packs is good - imagine if they just released a tier 2 starter pack with interchangeable weapons like they do for the russian paratroopers (mental they can do that and other nations cant) have 1 engineer, 1 rifleman squad, 1, asault squad and 1 armoured vehicle or maybe a new APC (like UC) and gige new players a lifeline to get started in the game if they can rotate the store they can rotate sale items they were more than happy to remove the achilles and firefly from the store which were one of the best vehicles the allies had to kill heavy german armor they can rotate out other squads and vehicles to. Either way quite annoying how the curent system is.
It’s utter stupidity that they took away the Assault I for new players. Now they’re forced to play as snipers and medics, and that’s just terrible, since they don’t have an engineer. The developers are absolutely stupid. They need to bring back Assault I for new players and give them engineers instead of snipers.
Regarding the topic, as a veteran of the companies, I will not receive anything, I would really like to give the newcomers the old squads, but as a veteran, since I do not receive anything, I would like to see more original squads.
I think Veekay45 made a good point - if this is an issue, just add new squads similar to the old ones so players can fill gaps in their collections. For example, I have nearly every pre-merge British squad except Recon and Rifleman, which is really frustrating when I’m trying to build a full Britain Allies lineup. (It’s also painful that the UC isn’t purchasable.)
We need:
Proper preset bundles
Create usable preset bundles that are all the same BR. For example, BR starter packs with 1 rifleman, 1 assaulter, 1 engineer, plus either a tank or APC. They should have good perks and be well balanced so they don’t make tech-tree squads obsolete - or allow them to use tech-tree weapons.
Better premium tank options at each BR
There should be at least one solid premium tank per BR (ideally more). Right now, most nations have pretty poor options with a few exceptions. Many premiums either duplicate tech-tree variants or are simply worse. Yes, there are things like the M24, SU-76M, and APCs, but they’re not very unique. The Allies in particular suffer from reskins, and the Japanese are lacking in armor. Meanwhile, Germany gets a BR V gun at BR III, which feels unbalanced when we can’t even get something like an Achilles or Firefly at BR III-IV.
Lack of high-BR SPAA
Not having SPAA at higher BRs is frustrating when fighting jets. I can’t enjoy higher tiers at the moment because of this.
No Decent Multi BR Paratrooper squads for most nations except Russia
this needs to change, its bad enough paratroopers arent in the tech tree given how effective on some maps they are, but also having no ability to change out weapons in a premium squad is just frustrating for mains on other nations who want to have paratroopers at multiple BRs
