Poll about Sherman ''Jumbo''

It’s far more vulnerable even with the mobility.

If a Jumbo’s flanks are exposed, which will often be the case here, it’s fucked.

If a Churchill’s flanks are exposed, it’s still not getting penned from the side.

Depends on the model
Other than the weak lower side hull of the jumbo, which you can hide somewhat decently if you go half hull down, the upper plate is 76mm, which is enough against most infantry weapons. Meanwhile the chuchill mk3 has 65mm, with the mk7 indeed having better side armor at 95mm

I’m going off of how I see tanks being used now in-game. The only way tanks stay protected hull-down in Enlisted is when they camp in their spawn. In Normandy especially I hit exposed flanks more than I have to hit anything hull-down.

Jumbos were only ever OP in War Thunder because flanking is virtually impossible with 6 tanks between you and its flank, which won’t happen here.

Hull down in Enlisted :joy:?
You have to realize Enlisted is not the same thing as warthunder. Some tanks that are OP in Warthunder could be garbage in Enlisted.
Also, when did you see anyone go hull down in Enlisted? All tank shells pass through wood like butter and bunkers are too big for tanks to go hull down behind them…

But I do have to agree with @5762269
Sherman jumbo might be unrealistic compared to Churchill

Half hull down, I said. You only really need to hide your lower side hull with the jumbo. upper half is mostly fine.

Still you can’t really pick and choose placement in Enlisted outside of your spawn, with infantry coming out of the cracks.

I wouldnt be too afraid of infantry when inside of a jumbo unless the panzerfaust/panzerschreck were added, doubt the sturmpistole has enough pen

We’ll have to wait for someone to unlock the sturmpistole, but if the devs consider it comparible to the Pogo, infantry, anti-tank, it should have more than enough pen as those could pen tigers.

love the nickname
(if you didnt know the official term is projector but I think you know)

Few things, the jumbo and 76 shermans didn’t operated during D day ,we already seen the 76 (to be exact it was M4A1 76 W) sherman in the picture art of the update. but I really don’t know how to think about them, to balance the tiger and panther you need them… Let’s not talk about the tiger 2…IMG_20210304_183710

I don’t want Jumbo. I want WUMBO!

Enlisted: Death Traps edition.

“Our ronsons didn’t stand a chance against king tigers”
“Sir, take your meds, that slogan didn’t exist in wwii and your unit wasn’t inside 100 miles of a tiger ii”

Sherman Jumbo Is late 1944 thing. It was created to breach French-German border. So nope from me. It is balanced as it is. + historicall accuracy is on spot. For the most part, shermans with 75 faced Pz 4s on the western front.
