It is hard work that should have been done before open beta. Enlisted needs progression overhaul and they have no excuses here. That being said, it’s not like pressuring or blaming them will make the update ready for release faster.

Actually I like the Academy progression system. It forces you to plan what you are doing, sort of another game into the game. I already got several five star soldiers this way.
I hate the gun dismantling and upgrade, though. You constantly get, via the bronze orders, other examples of weapons you are not using anymore (e.g. MP.28 in Moscow) or weapons that cannot be upgraded at all (e.g. mortars, flamethrowers).

Both systems rob you of any attachment to anything you have - both soldiers and weapons. It all eventually becomes meaningless trash to sift through. To plan through, if you will.
