Current BP season ends within a dozen days. If the merge plus new economy will update in next BP.
It’s 100% sure community will complains about certain part of the new system after they use it. And 100% some changes will needs to be made.
Just open the test server early. So dev and we have enough time to actually see and try and feedback the new system. And make it at least acceptable by most of players.
This is a really big changes. Previous 3~5 days test period is 100% not enough for players actually feedback and for dev to actually tweak something.
they can easily extend BP season if they so want it… it wouldnt be the first time they did so.
considering we are getting unified currency rather late and lots of things are still unclear i doubt we will get merge with next update, but i could be wrong.
I don’t know where that rumor came from that the Test Server will be here at the end of Battlepass Season but honestly I don’t think so? I suspect that the Merge Update itself would be a lot closer to Christmas maybe even early January at the earliest (it may be even longer). I don’t think Darkflow would just drop the update nilly willy without first informing the community of when that happens and before that the actual Test Server itself first.
Give it some time. At least you know it’s being worked on unlike a certain game on Console that’s been waiting for it’s rework and DLC since like March of 2022.
Some people have used the upcoming Enlisted birthday as an argument for the merge coming soon. The said birthday is early november. Which is in approximately one month. The dev will probably extend the BP for it to end with the arrival of the merge. But this could be entirely false, we don’t really have much info.
