Please join the US guerrilla alternative squad

In the current Allied camp, the guerrilla squad doesn’t have any American teams at all.
And in the latest pass, the guerrilla fighters also speak American English, which doesn’t really fit with the teams in the current game.
We need American guerrillas.
The best recommendation is the Carlson Raiders formed by Evans Fordyce Carlson, which is the U.S. Marine Corps’ 2nd Raider Battalion.

The new Aussie Premium BP Guerilla having a American accent is a travesty, if this were fixed that would be great. As for a American Guerrilla Unit, yeah that would be cool not to mention the current premium Squad is British which is fine but there is no non commonwealth option.

All you Americans have pretty much every other squad, let us Aussie have 1.

Yeah exactly, and make the Owen gun squad Australian. Australia was the only one that actually used the Owen gun [maybe New Zealand in small numbers], certainly not Yanks.

I want tech tree Australian regular infantry squads, then we can talk about BP, event, or tech tree Merill’s Marauders.

Actually, the Americans did use the Owen gun in small numbers. American troops would often steal Owen guns from dead Aussies because they were very reliable in jungle conditions.

I’d dispute that.

MacArthur ordered 60,000 Owens but it never happened cause our industry was already stretched.

Australian and American forces only fought side by side in some Pacific battles [there were joint operations but not that often like walking side by side sort of thing, I even heard that Australians used to camp far away from the Yanks cause they found the Americans too noisy [attracts attention] and friendly fire incidents werent exactly uncommon.

It was more New Zealanders that traded or picked up Owens.

Of course it’s not impossible that a GI may have come across an Owen gun or traded one but really not common at all. [this may be incorrect but I thought I recalled reading some GIs wanted to trade for Owen guns but were forbidden].

Anyway, it’s possible Australians or Yanks couldve used Japanese weapons in last resort but I wouldnt add an Arisaka rifle squad to Allies because of that.

I just think for Australia’s national weapon, used overwhelmingly by Australia, it should be an Australian squad.

That way they wouldnt need to even add a new squad, just change the existing American one to Australians [players can still equip GIs with Owen guns if they want].
