Please fix frame generation frame rate

I want to be able to play with ray tracing enabled, but I need some help—it’s extremely demanding, even on an RTX 5090. The situation improves by boosting performance with “Frame Generation x2”; anything other than “x2” makes the game unplayable due to excessive latency and tearing. Otherwise, it looks truly fantastic—even the most trivial little mirrors manage to reflect the surrounding world. Great work!

what?

you use FG on a 5090?

screenshots you showed arent exactly what i would call fantastic.

well it is fairly weak gpu so he needs any help that he can get

It’s clear that you have no idea what you’re talking about. Yes, it’s fascinating to be able to see reflections even in a tiny side-view mirror—what’s irrelevant to you might be significant to others. And that’s not even mentioning all the other effects—which I haven’t fully listed—that you can only achieve with ray tracing; it makes for an entirely different game. That said, yes: even with a 5090, you’d still need frame generation (at most a 2x multiplier, nothing more) if you want to maintain a steady 120Hz or 144Hz. The load at 4K, with everything maxed out and path tracing enabled, is monstrous. So, if you don’t know what you’re talking about, it’s better not to comment—you’ll only end up looking foolish.

If you wanna see always 120 fps on 4k with ray tracing yes

:joy:looks like 720p
