In the new system you have to ‘purchase’ a weapon which is tied to a new squad. Even those which you had unlocked previously. If you don’t purchase that weapon you don’t get that squad and you can’t unlock the weapon which is next in line. And guess what the cost of purchasing that weapon is 3,000 silver. It makes sense to put a price tag on tanks. But not for weapons especially ones which the player owns already. 3,000 silver is a lot and takes like 3 very good matches to earn it in-game.
