After all these times. the ai are still dumb as f. They cannot shoot enemy when they see them close and more importantly they still can’t follow player properly. For example, in berlin. when I go under the bridge the ai just have to go across the bridge and die running without killing anything(yes I have them equiped with best gears possible. fg422, stg44&sniper version and mg34double drum) For a lot of the time I need the ai to follow me to win but when I die and switch to another person I just found them being hundreds meters away. And some times when some one just came to my front and kill me my bots just stand there and wait to be killed by the same guy.
Ah yes, you have just described one of the most annoying common occurrences in this game, which I like to call the ‘Conga Line of Death’.
The bots always form a line behind you, when you move forward. Other formations don’t exist. Then you run into an enemy and he kills you, you switch to the next soldier, who is standing behind you, who then promptly gets shot also, and so on until your whole squad is dead at the hands of a single enemy. I think everyone know that experience. Due to the formation, the bots are often in a bad position to fight back, but vulnerable at the same time. And they will never break formation under attack, unless you tell them to go to a specific location.
But there are solutions to this problem. I have only recently started doing this, so most of the time, I forget to follow my own advice in the heat of the battle. But it works reasonably well, when I do it.

If your bots are all following you and you get shot, don’t switch to the next soldier, switch to the last one. This will give you some time to get your bearings and fight back against the enemy, while he is most likely busy, because he is killing the other guys in your squad first.

Keep your bots out of harms way in the first place. Don’t round corners, where enemies might be, with your whole squad. Order them to stay in place until you know the coast is clear and then cancel the order. Same with entering a building. Go in alone, unless it isn’t safe outside, either. Always keep your team in a safe place, if possible. This is a great hassle of course, and again, I rarely follow my own advice on this. But a large part of being successful in this game, is managing your squad in battle.
My bots may not be super killers, but they do kill, destroy tanks when told to (must be equipped with dynamite or a molotov cocktail) and sometimes one bot does a series of kills.
You have to give them orders. I skillfully position them and show them the location of the enemy.
