The Stalingrad’s balance is suck as we all know, All of the high rank player just want to use mkb & 39m to slaughter the soviet, now the soviet side is full of AI. As for me, i got a group in soviet & take a beat by the german, For 5 games play，I wont choose the soviet too.
Have you ever think the DOTA2 is a 3V5 game??? i never see my soviet teammate more than 6 or they are raw recruit, much more to win, the harder i resist the better score the german had, So why must i choose Soviet?
OK, Let’s switch to German, when i got the second point in assault,The soviets are still join in!!! how poor they are.
The only way i can think out is divide the leaderboard. Or everyone wont choose the weak side. and the balance issue cant simply solve by just add the manpower & capture time, thats suck too.

in all honesty tho, i dunno how tf they managed to f up the teams so that allies get 6 players per team while axis gets 13?
i get teams like that 2 games out of 3

I got 400 battles moscow axis and 500 berlin’s the berlin’s event hasnt unfair like that trust me, just cuz no a single dumass will choose soviet
Honestly, most German soldiers are scarecrows equipped with MkB.
Even on the Soviet side, if they formed an engineering unit and had everyone carry AKT-40s, they would be on top in kills. Of course, the Allies would lose.
This has been posted in Reddit basically what this event in a nutshell.
I agree with the idea to divide the event leaderboard, atleast dedicated Soviet players will have something unique to the faction for the event and the current format is a dumpster fire so I’m not playing the event and back to my normal matches instead.
Seen you on the Battlefield while you really did your best you got punished with a real low win rate, played some soviet games as well and what to say it was pure hell.
Like there is no resistance from the Russian side and axis push die hard all day to climb the ladder.
So be doing Soviet matches i literally ruined my stats, so i would agree to a divided ladder. 
PS: yes as a Moscow axis main Soviet dominance all day was a pain in the ass.
