autocannons and mgs have 0 reasons to overheat.
considering they take up a tank slot.
they should be deadlier.
( like sure, real life argument / realism i would get it. but what we have in game is far from being historical… nor realistic… or ever, fun… )

At least they dressed them like Canadian tankers of the time (sort of. Got the black berets) and have Commonwealth voices.
They have 1911 pistols however, instead of the high power… weird. But was easily fixed.

MG on every tank in the game shouldn’t overheat. The only restriction they need is the actual reload after using the ammo in the mag/drum.
As for Auto Cannons, if they have a low mag size I see no reason why overheat should affect them. it’s not like you got a 200 round drum on a 20mm cannon. Those high capacity auto cannon ones should overheat when the gun is reloading if they are over 20-30 rounds. Yes you may lose a second or so to overheat but if you burst like intended you won’t have any issues.
That’s just my thoughts, but I wouldn’t mind overheat being removed entirely.
Skink isnt a joke. I just sloughteted 100 infintry and 4 tanks with it

skink is fun but just watch out with ur firing rhytmn. if u mess the rhytmn, the gun might overheats before u have the chance to empty ur mag for a reload to cool down ur gun.
Excessive Overheat indeed is a stupid mechanic, but just moving Kugelblitz to BR4 would also do.
Skink should also be able to destroy sandbags with the 4 x 20mm guns. Kugelblitz is also able to do it.
A heavy MG can do it, too (from all nations). So it would only be logic that Skink can do the same

20mm against infantry is deadly… just requires a direct hit… comparing it to the kugel which has splash isn’t logical… even though they are in the same pack.
This just proves the rule that only one item in pre-order bundles is worth getting, doesn’t it?
In War Thunder, there are barrels that can fire continuously without overheating even after emptying two magazines, yet here they overheat after just 20 rounds. It’s ridiculous. Even anti-aircraft guns have had their overheating mechanics removed.
