So, I’ve been flying a couple of planes recently, and I’ve noticed that buildings and trenches do not appear on the map while you’re outside of their render distance.
This is kinda annoying, as it is a lot harder to plan a bombing run when all you have to go on are some enemy positions, with no knowledge of whether they are inside a house or trench.

ive brought this up to. i got lynched good luck. nobody likes constructive criticism anymore. because the world is soft now they think you’re attacking something when really youre trying to make it better
It’s not really baking, it’s really just render distance. The dev team doesnt have the money to make super low detail buildings for long distance, I suppose.
No, I mean baking, as in predraw the map and save it as an image. No need to load the buildings for them to show up on the map anymore.
Yeah that doesn’t work. Images are 2D. The game is 3D. You are missing a dimension.
…I just want the buildings to show up on the map, not in the environment. An image is 2D, and the map is 2D. I am not missing a dimension.
They could add the foundations of the buildings as a static image on the map ittself for when you’re in the air and the building doesn’t render though.
Like how cap points in WT are straight up drawn on the ground
