Please address the inconsistencies on Pacific Campain

I have been grinding allied pacific for a month now. Yes there are bots, but I can tell you there are more players than you think playing on allied side. How do I know this.

  1. They are spawning HT trucks

  2. They are flying

So I know there are players. The problem is. They are brain dead. Yes every single one of them.

  1. They don’t know how to build rallies or refuse to do so.

  2. They rely on me or some other team carrying player to always build rallies

  3. They never go near objective to defend.

  4. They never attack objective.

  5. They fly around in CAS planes doing no damage and know just enough to not crash. So that means they are in the air all match being completely useless.

This campaign is probably the worst I have ever grinding(Tunisia axis is close 2nd) it’s amazing how brain dead people are.

Hell, Japanese side players are not even that good IMO. I constantly get 150+ kills a match with 20+ engineer points trying to either attack or defend objectives. Usually the 2nd place guy on my team only has 40-50kills.

Allied playerbase is just HORRIBLE

you are quite outdated on this one, that was months ago when japan is weak. the Devs buffed japanese twice. japan has almost no recoil ,i know this myself since im level 25 as shown above. go play some US as well, ull change ur mind pretty quick if u think US needs nerf

US bleeds faster and Japan has more tickets as lives, so not only weapons is buffed, their faction got buffed as a whole

asking for further nerfs is just plain dumb

if u want 100% win rate as japan play on Eastern Europe as japan, me and my friends has almost 100% winrate on there, majority of US teams we face are bots for easy farm. we know because we can spam literally MG Nests, and they will just get spawn kill run to gun fire rinse and repeat.

if you are still losing, then ur team just didnt perform well enough, me and my friends can topscore consistently

Oh and the Japanese ATR rifle is insanely OP. Even if you’re in the rear somewhat (not grey zone camping) and trying to support your team, you will just get owned by the ATR. Every shot takes out a crew member. Only vehicle I have seen that can withstand some pounding is the Stuart and that’s only if you’re facing to the front.

If not, either your crew members will die or vehicle set on fire. It makes every vehicle on allied side practically useless

i forgot to mention the devs also added faster capture time for japan, and slower capture time. its massive changes and buffs for japan

JP side = Vacation where every game is an easy win
US side = living hell devoid of any human life

The bot hell which is 2023 US I hope to see adjusted with the tech tree changes, since the underlying equipment for the US in the Pacific campaign is still stronger, and I’ve noticed that despite average WR for my US sessions being much lower, I’m able to get far more kills per match even if I’m just soloing my engineer squads equipped with nothing but M1 Garands.

I suspect if 2022 was any indication of the state of the Pacific game balance, that we’ll see winrates stabilize if not potentially swing hard back in the opposite direction. I have to say I probably had the worst timing for grinding this campaign overall however, as I decided to start 2022 grinding Japan (although playing Japan occasionally in 2023 has helped effectively double my winrate for them now), and then pivoted into grinding the US this year, just as the bot hell began.

I love the US equipment, the M1 Garand actually being the best rifleman gun in a campaign also feels amazing, but when I’m maybe one of maybe a few if any people building rally points and half my team appear to be bots, I’m really just waiting to see the playerbase get reconstituted via the tech tree rework.

EDIT: I will say I have also noticed that around certain times of the day, US teams suddenly gain a brain and actually manage to make pushes or properly defend points, the time of day seems to vary, but I would say if you play around 2:00-6:00 UTC on weekdays (much harder for players outside of North America, but for those who live there it should be much more accessible), it seems actual humans appear and the US 2022 club sessions start to reappear, if only briefly.

US not only is full of bots but also humans with low level in campaign, non-5starred weapons and zero recoil reduction perks, last 2 turn M1 Garand from okay weapon with just bare;y enough damage and too high recoil into top tier murdermachine, other problem is that almost nobody is building rally points there.

I can’t say I have much issue using the Garand, at least so far as in the Pacific campaign. I really enjoy actually having 10 hitpower above 100m, and it manages to do that while still having 8 rounds and a sub-3 second reload. The fact that the equivalent unlock at level 13 on the Japanese side is a last-ditch Type 99 with .18 dispersion feels like a joke. I will say that the Garand feels less potent in Normandy, where I’d take the Gewehr 43 over it, and ultimately just replace it with the M2 Carbine, but comparing it to both the Type Otsu and Type Hei, it’s simply superior and it has been genuinely refreshing to be able to play a campaign where I can reliably main the Garand.

Having largely completed both sides of the campaign at this point, the nominal performance I have in the US as an individual player is much higher than it is playing Japan, but every game feels like I’m playing solo against 12 players and my teammates are largely useless.

The US equipment feels consistently more powerful where it counts. When I manage to get even half of a competent team I find that I can reliably steamroll, so I would argue there’s little concern as far as weapon balance for the US, or rather, it’s still very much in the US advantage. As a result, the core problem doesn’t really look like any deficiency in equipment, any of which I suspect will be ultimately backfilled by the tech tree rework as well, but instead just a player population or holistic player competency issue for that campaign.
