Title is pretty self-explanitory
I like running Normandy squads, and the M4A2 was widely used by the US army, it only makes sense that I should be able to run a regular BR3 Sherman. I don’t want to run one of the high BR Shermans because I want to play BR3. And I want to play a Normandy tank squad, so don’t say play the Tanker II squad (yes I’m picky like that) I don’t think this would ruin the balance of the game or anything, it would be cool to see.

The Sherman II is meant for the British, but the other US tanks inside the Tanker II squad should also be usable on the US squads.
So yeah, 100% agreed, perhaps not even going far enough!

Only then will my Normandy lineup be truly complete… If that heppened, then I wouldn’t mind not having Sherman on Tanker III, becuase I would just get the Tanker I for Normandy instead…

M4a2 was the model with diesel engine. It was used as import model for soviets (they also got 76 variants) and britain as sherman 3. Marines also used m4a2 but i don’t believe it was ever used by us army. You might have confused it with m4 or m4a3 that arent in enlisted. Still i think all tanks should be usable by all tank squads

Not really, it was mostly sent to their allies, most notably UK and the soviet Union. The diesel engine was not liked by the US due to potential logistical issue caused by using different kind of fuel within same units.
Also, if you have the old Normandy Tanker I squad, this one should be able to use the M4A2. Well my bad it seems like you don’t have this squad.

They should unlock all the vehicles for all squads or none at all.
Allowing one side exeptions for half their vehicles but none on the other does mean they can spam them so much easier.
Given how most tanker squads follow the BR of the tanks aswell it means most of the time you only got a singular approiate BR tank available without the use of legacy squads. But if you create exeptions for all the US/UK tanks only then other factions are still worse of without that flexibility.
