You can never be sure how tossed objects will fall. Usually this is not a problem, only sometimes a box of first aid kits or a mine sticks in a ridiculous orientation, in this cases the precision of placement is not so important. It’s different with TNT Charge, you can try tossing while standing next to the vehicle, but that usually doesn’t work. To make sure it falls on the vehicle, players always have to climb on the vehicle. I propose to solve all these problems by making all tossing objects have their own outline/silhouette such as building objects and posters.

This will give us total control over where we want to position the tossed objects.
Developers also will be able to block the placement of an object in strange ways, just as posters that could only be placed on a wall, so a mine can only be placed on flat surfaces.

Yes, if there is ground under the building then mines and crates like to attach to it instead of the floor of the building.

AP mines simply SHOULD NOT be tossed… But placed with a short animation.
