Playin japanese vs usa

A dumb question but I just want to ask you guys which faction do u play more. I didn’t play enlisted for 4 months and came back when pacific was announced but in the last 2 days I couldn’t get a single victory with japs and my rank dropped from major to second lieutenant which means I dropped by 3 ranks just by playing the Japanese. most of my teams in the past few days was filled with bots or new players while the enemy team had high ranking players.
So just a simple question, what’s your opinion on Japanese faction and why do you think people stopped playing them

I queue both teams, get Japan much more often, but also win more often with Japan.

I play Japanese because American are pigs with no honnor.
Most of their gun don’t have bayonets because they prefer to fight like cowards.

For the Emperor!

Im calm grinding US in pacific

A lot of people switch from jap to US because japanese equipment is very bad compared to the american one in this early phase, but the situation gonna be improved in the future probably

If you find hard play with jap i suggest you to play on EEU server russian player are main them

Disclaimer - This is my own Theory. No clue if its right or not.

So, that aside, I think some of it has to do with how easy it is becoming to Farm XP and K/D on the Pacific Side.
Even with Nerfs, the way most maps / grey zones are setup, M13s and to a lesser extent AA can be used to great effect on farming and taking out the Japanese side. Buildings are made of wood and straw so its quite easy to be two objectives back and farming thr point.
In the last 20 battles on the pacific there has almost never been a point where there were not 2 of those going at all times.
Its probably the only reason my Vehicle Kill ratio in the Pacific has skyrocketed to an average of 4.56 vehicles killed per match.

Further compounding this issue is the old adage “If you can’t beat them, join them”, so the more Japan gets farmed, the more people Switch to the US and the cycle becomes a self sustaining issue.

All that said, if you can find a friend to play with it does make it easier to overcome the issues in the campaign.

Out of 78 battles for the Emperor, I have lost 4, and quit 1 (quit because my damn bots got stuck in the spawn and it wouldn’t let me do anything, I actually had to hard boot out and restart because of how badly I got locked up).

So, battles can be won but you have to do alot more heavy lifting than in other campaigns. And you have to kill them farther out to prevent their CqC prowess from playing a part in the battle (Just my personal opinion on that).

Noth in NA server US stonk here

I’m playing NA. US seems more popular but usually not very good.
Reminds me of War Thunder US vs Japan where the US always manages to perform worse with better equipment.

I play both, if I get bored of one I go to the other.

I think it’s pretty balanced honestly for both sides. It just comes down to which team has the better players at the time.

get Type 99 and enjoy the game, the best jap rifle

Japan only has good BA rifles. US gear is superior, so all the people that flocked to Japan for new stuff quickly switched over to US.

As Japanese defense, I find that it’s good to have a few players as “flank guards” or on a forward perimeter, interfering or causing sabotage against enemy attacks and rally points and diverting their forces. Flank rallies also can secure your flank and contest attack routes. Don’t let the Americans come to your front door; strike from the shadows first.

The Japanese have bugged CAS planes, D3A1 no gunsight, A5M4 no ordanance, the Hei is rubbish in comparison to Garand, HaGo good for mg sniping, but paper armour.

But I still like playing the outsider so main’ing them and will continue to do so, something about having a harder fight is more satisfying I guess.

yeah… when US gets p38s, shermans, 20 variants of thompsons, japanese will totally slaughter US…

honestly i expected that more people would still play japanese… in most battles lately i am the only one building rally points… so flank rally points are low priority (although i would love them…).

Just wait for the Japanese STG.
Life (the STG and FG 42) always finds a way

God I hope not!

Idk I doubt Japan will get Wunderwaffen in the future. Late Type 100 isnt much compared to another drum drum Thompson.
