Players exploiting AI in regular match

The AI pathfinding needs to be addressed. I just finished a match in Tunisia where we defended an objective successfully. I made spawn in the building next to the objective so this helped us to have constant stream of defenders at the objective. Attackers were losing badly and when they were around 100 points one of them drove tank between our spawn and doorway of the objective building and abandoned the tank there. It became wreckage that efficiently blocked safe route from spawn to objective for our bots. Players jumped there through windows but AI cannot do that and was forced to go around the building to the side from which attackers came and got slaughtered or waited helplessly near the tank wreckage. We quickly lost the objective because only human players could safely reach it and that was simply not enough to stop attacker whole squads of capping it. We won because they were not able to take next zone as their tickets went too thin. But still it seemed like really shady tactic and abuse/exploit of AI pathfinding, that they deliberately blocked the doorway by tank wreckage knowing that AI couldn’t safely follow us inside through windows.

It’s not an exploit… it’s being smart. Many ppl use the buses for the same purpose, and it’s brilliant. If the bots are too dumb to go around… then that’s on the game’s AI, smart tactical players shouldn’t be penalized.

I also noticed people blocking doorways with placeable AA guns that are also impossible to remove. So if it is too hard to learn AI jump through windows I suggest making all wreckage (guns, AA, tanks, etc) removable same way you remove enemy structures.

It’s easy to remove: you can dismantle them same way as barbed wire or sandbags (default “J” key)

You just cannot if it got recently destroyed and is still burning. Once the fire goes out it’s fine.

I think it is very similar scenario and many smart people got their progress reverted for being that smart recently.

Nothing even close.
The players that had their progress rolled back were (allegedly) blocking the pathways of the AI ON THEIR OWN TEAM while attacking. Since there were no other humans on the team, the player built fortifications could/would not be dismantled.
This enabled the lone remaining attacker (the exploiter) to almost endlessly farm bots because, as we all know, defenders have no limit on re-spawns. And the exploiter would have no reason to attempt to cap. This artificially extended the length of games to the point that some (allegedly) had a thousand or more kills.
Blocking the pathway of the ENEMY AI does nothing to exploit a game mechanic to extend the game and farm a crazy number of tickets.

as said by @Conscript_Joe if the players are too dumb to get rid of the wreckage it’s not abusing the AI, it’s defeating the opposing team in intelligence

That is called being tactical, not an Exploit. On Kroll Opera house I purposely destroy a tank once we lose the bridge (if we lose the bridge) in the tunnels at the next capture point to create murder holes for the waves of attackers. And if my Wife is playing we do it together.

Lol. I’ll show her the Pic, she’ll love it.
She’s also scary as hell when there is a Sniper rifle in her hand.
One match in Berlin she cleared a path right to a pair of tanks so I could take them out while she called the shots.
Definitely a keeper.

Tank trap is love, engineer is life

the only way i’m winning right now as Axis Tunisia is by clogging all enemy entrance to the CP. Works 85% at a time even if we’re out numbered and friendly don’t bother to make rally point.

You can’t get rid of the wreckage of tanks. Is it “smart” to use tanks to block doorways? Yes. Is it also crappy to do so? Very much yes.

Sure, you cannot farm crazy number of kills as it only ruins the game for the enemy team because by this move you simply remove 80% of enemies from the game about playing objectives as they are unable to reach it and tank wreckage cannot be removed, only pushed away by another tank which you often cannot do in time.

It start to see this more and more. We lost the first objective on airfield thanks to this guy who parked the tank so it blocked the only safe passage for Axis to the hangar with the objective.
