Players driven other players to leave

Was in a match inside a cave while being yelled at. Dude said he was in the cave all alone and acted like he couldnt see me or the other team mate. After building a rally point and barb wire we held off a bit.
After the game thou he started preaching to us how to win and do this and that. Mind you, I scored 2000 higher than him, and took 1st place. Had the same number of build points but I killed 8 tanks. He killed none. When I told him this he replied “those tanks did nothing” and dismissed it. Felt I had no choice to block him.
This wasnt the only time I had to block players. The other was this dude from Swiss. He would say to do this and that. He was the same kind of player has the other dude. Again, I keep skies clear and tank free so he can take points. Even on the ground I am often next to him. But he was also pretend to be alone. I can get 100 on the ground the same. Mind you I am better on the ground than flying. After 1 loss thou, he blamed me for the loss despite not scoring much higher. If I didnt take out those tanks and planes he would of never reach the point. So next game, him and his friend was screaming for someone to take out the tanks and bombers. I did not take out any tank and plane and watch the whole battle fall apart. In reality he didnt want a teammate but a fallguy. I still scored high enough but I was hoping they both learn their lesson. Instead they choose to be stupid. They to, them two, I blocked also.
I cant be friends with people that think they can dictate what other players should do and dont. I like to play for fun and try my best. I played for 5 years now and know how to play. When you blame others for a loss and not be honest about it you dont get to gaslight the outcome. You dont get to scold with a lower score. When you take points with 0 tank and plane kills but your teammate is in the dozens tank kills, dont yell at him, thank him.
Playing Enlisted just isnt about being on top or winning, you got to have fun. Team chemistry counts. For four years I played this game alone with no team and did fine. Rather play alone then get blamed for your failures.
Becareful who you make freinds with and watch toxic traits. Most of the time its the guy living with his mom that causes problems. Got to grow up sometime.
FYI on PS5, you can see friends that are in parties and how many. Lying saying a party is full cant be quick checked. Make sure you block liars.

Yip. Some people play like its their job or when you kid outside with a basketball pretending a ncaa scout is looking at you. I tried to ignore for the longest but when I self reflected I realized I wasnt havent fun with them. They didnt respect me. So I let them go.

Just ignore those guys.

Had a guy rage quit a game (Japan vs Allies) because we were “incompetent”. Suddenly, after he was replaced by a bot, we started doing better and we eventually won the game without him.

The guy was even semi-active on the forums a while back, I sent an image of the victory screen to him.

He hasn’t responded yet.

The funniest one must be a guy who started raging at me for not protecting him against a enemy fighter.

I was playing a Japanese CAS (another Japan vs Allies game), whilst this other guy had just spawned in as a fighter. I saw a US fighter flying very low by the sea, and chose not to engage at the moment and relied on the fact that I was so high up that he couldn’t reach me (I was low on energy after just having turned around, and I was carrying a 500kg bomb, and it’s not like dual MGs are the best AA armaments in the first place).

Anyway, the friendly fighter - being a lot faster than me - charged on ahead towards the point, dropping a very unimpactful bombload, then he got immedietly shredded by the US fighter after flying out towards the ocean. Meanwhile, I had taken the chance to swoop down for a quick drop myself as I saw the enemy fighter was distracted, and when I leveled out again I was lucky enough to be on the US fighter’s 6, avenging the burning friendly on the surface of the water.

Now, apparently, this was all my fault, because it was my “job as a fighter” to protect him. I pointed out that, I saw the enemy fighter coming a mile away and assumed he had too (his response to this vaguely implied that he had too, don’t know if this was him just saving face or not), and the obvious fact that I was the one carrying the only 500kg bomb of Japan, exclusive to a CAS plane… Apparently, correcting him was (and I shit you not) “fatherless behaviour”, and it was still my fault.

I wish I was making this up.

Another game (Axis vs Allies), which we admitedly lost, some guy tried blaming me for said loss. This was on one of those Bulge maps with two hills overlooking a depression (AT guns and tanks often sitting on the hill greyzone camping). This was when that Fw 190 with rockets had just been lowered to BR III, and I was perfecting the art of cracking open Shermans with nothing but rockets, whilst simultaniously intercepting P-38 rocket spammers.

Apparently, keeping the skies clear, deleting the most tanks (that were keeping our infantry from taking the point in the first place), and ending the match on first place (with more engineer score and equal ammounts of capture score) meant that I wasn’t contributing to the match.

Point is, don’t listen to them, the only one with enough knowledge to accurately criticize on how you are doing is only yourself. If you get to the point where you have enough gamesense to know what you’re doing right and what you’re doing wrong, then you don’t need the advice of strangers that were actually just venting in the firstplace.

Their input is meaningless, and often, worse than useless.

Oh man i got a guy similar to this and let me tell you it was SUPER annoying to me. Dude complain about “no one build wah” and “this team suck wah” while he didnt build anything and being 8th on the score. Absolute trash.

Seriously if this guy was higher than me then sure maybe there’s some truth but if he is below that deep then nah.

anyway if someone who dont build complain about a team not building it get on my nerve real quick. (rant over)

oh btw we won despite the alleged “bad team” that the loser was complaining about. (which goes to show that action speak louder than word indeed)

I don’t play with any chat, so I have no idea what others are saying…And don’t really care either. :joy: I had a headset and a mic but gave it to my kid a couple years ago when he broke his. I play music while I am playing, it helps keeping me from melting down over my terrible bots.

lol me too, I usually play with my wife and talk to her instead

Me too with the music. It’s either Indie or Metal. Nothing like a bit of Band-Maid, Metalica or Franz Ferdinand to sooth my playing pain… that too and a few drinkies xxx

They really need to figure out how to silence that on PS…I always hear people talking when I don’t have it active.

I have about 300 songs saved on my computer, but when I am playing I am usually listening to a mixture of rock, with a lot of ACDC and Def Leppard.

Is it possible to hear others without a headset? I never hear anyone.

Most of the time I hear other players…yet it’s muffled like it’s not meant to be…I’m guessing some are using headsets and it’s inadvertently getting to my game. I hope it doesn’t go both ways or some of these kids are going to be learning some new colourful language.

Oh yeah, if people could hear me through the gaming system they would learn ever four letter unflattering word know to man. 80% of them directed towards my AI bots. I feel like they have a personal grudge against me.
