Since the start of the new BP it has been clear that many still don’t understand the concept of the game yet. If you are finishing the battle with less then 10 kills and fewer than 500 points because you are playing Mortarmen, Snipers and Medics…you are being ineffective. On BR1…sure, BR2…maybe, but BR3??? You are of NO use to your teamates as they need help in the higher tiers. Go back and learn the basics and the importance of building rally points, playing the objective and most impotantly KILLING enemy soldiers. It benefits EVERYONE by learning the game…especially YOU.
This is only going to get worse when Saboteurs come out.
I watched a squad today playing Mortarmen and trying to target ONE enemy soldier who ran far away from the objective and kept rearming with their Engineer…to finish our loss with 7 kills…XBox for the win…on BR3. I don’t think they even got them. This is BEYOND frustrating.
10 kills in 20 mins btw. they spawn in stand around for a good couple of mins see the point gets taken by the pushing enemy team and just walks to the next point and do the same thing. those 10 kills was done by the players bots in the squad because they still have both of their hands deep inside their cheetos puffs bag
Since Wednesday, every win is work as there are always 3-4 on the team…losing is one thing but losing points when you are first and have several battle hero awards with 150 kills is insulting.
And no matter what the sides say, they are a mix of PS, XBox AND PC.
I share the same frustration, here’s my take on what they should do to fix the issue. Currently they matchmake with a BR system that focuses on what weapons you bring to the match. When they do this, it allows statistically good players to be on the same team as bad ones. Instead, they should group people into the match based on two things, a numerical skill calculation, and whether or not they want to play as support (any role where you’re not rushing the objective), or assault (storming/running into the objective). This solves the issue where in some games, nobody is rushing the objective, and everybody is standing back. People who elect to be either support or assaulters can use whatever weapons they want.
With the idea of building rally points. I think that whole mechanic has to be thrown away because in almost every game I play, there’s always an imbalance where one team has more rally points than the other making the game unfair. Instead, what they should do is give each team 100 spawn points that are already built up before the game starts. The one hundred spawn points are arranged on each half of the objective for each team, with the closest ones for each side being 130m from the objective. The reason you need one hundred spawn points is so the enemy can’t spawn camp. If people are spawn camping within a certain distance around the objective the game should deactivate the spawn point until they leave which leaves you 99 more to pick from. This solution gets rid of the rally imbalance problem while allowing people to focus on the objective and not building rally points.
There’s been talk on this… such a valuation is really hard to conceptualise or program. Statistics cannot really capture the 'better" players.
About the only good thing mentioned thus far has been the xp improvements to cap related tasks. They can guide the players to the water hole but they can’t make them drink.
Way back when I first started, I hated bolt action rifles, and since I think I only had a couple rifle squads and a sniper squad, I used to sit back and play almost the entire match sniping. If I had 20 kills I thought I had a good game.
That changed once I started getting my assaulter squads though, however, I would play assaulter till they died then go back and snipe. Nowdays, my snipers squads for the most part are assaulter squads with StG’s and scopes removed.
I suspect those people you mentioned are troublemakers. They don’t play the game, but they stand in their spots and cause trouble. And when you try to communicate with them, they just wander off on their own. Also, recently many Chinese kids have flooded into Enlisted; they don’t play the game properly, causing trouble is their specialty.
That’s great because Enlisted just made a new class for them, to help the game grow and so forth. ![]()
I sincerely hope that historical battles can return, because the limited-time behind-enemy-lines single-player sabotage mode simply cannot satisfy the needs of players worldwide. It’s just an appetizer; since we’re all “appetizers” of WWII history, how can we possibly satisfy all of us at once?
