Yes I agree with you, I have also seen many comments complaining about the A-20 of German players. If it is true that when I see a Ju188 fly I want to destroy it by all means hehe
I have played a lot with the Americans and I enjoy it when I have a good team, we are all random players and it is understandable that sometimes there are players who look like bots and do nothing, in my opinion it is a greater challenge.
In many games as an American we have not passed the first aerodrome point, omaha, or that assault that never wins called I think ven-nun-ser the one to capture the antenna and the bell tower at the beginning and they are two objectives at the same time
As a German main player, I have to agree with Ju-188 overpowered charges. 6x, 250 kg bomb for that bomber is way too powerful. Not jsut the number, but the blast radius of them is also way high. (Damag from blast is also too much for most of the bombs in planes. imo)
Ju-188 need balanceing also. (Way too much kill, if i carpet bomb the field. sometimes 2 tank and tons of people dies cause these bombs…)
in my opinion let it like it is because if there is an enemy player with a plane he shoots you out of the sky it is a glass cannon it does a fuck ton of dmg but dies nearly instantly so till wee get the defensive weapons on that thing it should have the same bombs it has now
and yeah the a-20 can be strong but i dont hate it the only thing i dont like is that moste of the time the allied have a a-20 + a p38 in the skies and thats horrible for the germans as i said earlyer i also know the ju188 is strong but as long as it cant defend itself let the bombs at the moment it can defend itself make weaker bombs
Except that the Germans have it easier regarding air spam as their planes have better bomb loadouts and their first heavy fighter in France uses tactical nukes as rockets.
i will only be ok with germany getting 2 aircraft spawn if either 109g-6 gets changed into an attacker class, maybe same with the 190, and swaps position with the the g10
i wouldn’t mind that but i do think that what i think should happen is better to keep what little accuracy is left in the game while allowing germany to get to aircraft in the air
how do you air spam when you can only field half the planes. The Ju CANT defend itself and cant have an ally defend it cuz only 1 german plain allowed. Simply get in any plane as an american and shoot it down if its so op.
Us being able to field double the planes deffinately gives them superiority, if you dont like the ju than handle it. Killing a ju as american is like shooting fish in a barrel.
There is one thing you’re missing here, and it’s that the inability for the Ju188 to fight back doesn’t actually matter in the grand scheme of the game. Yes, it sucks as the player that you can’t contest a P-51 taking pot shots at your tail, but since there is no air spawn penalty for a shot down plane for the team, all that means is you free up the air slot for another Ju 188 or Bf110 player to come in and clean house. In that sense, the Ju188 is still the strongest plane in Normandy, you just can’t expect to farm with it all game if the Allies have a half competent pilot (which half the time they don’t).
Its not damn rocket sciene to bomb, especially if you have bombs with more power.
Yet. Who knows how this will work out with AI gunners.
Also I doubt that it is really that necessary to be able to defend as bombers and CAS planes have somehow broken hitboxes (again) plus lack of spawn penalty.
Germans do not have a lack of air spamers.
For what? Their fighter bombs are weak, the rockets of the M8 are way weaker and unreliable against tanks (even if you hit them with them) and not everyone use their bombers.
The Germans on the other hand have better rockets and bombs on their fighters. They have far more advantage from air superiority in terms of air vs ground.
I mean it depends a lot on experience but I see way more JU than A-20 and in general Germans tend to spam planes more than Allies (both in Normandy and Moscow) for specific reasons.
i have a different expirience in normandy as soon as i make one bomb run my my JU i have an enemy fighter on my tail and that every time but the point is not that the american planes are to strong the point is while wee need to decide to get a cas or a fighter to the air the US clears the airspace and bomb the ground at the same moment, that is my expirience when i play i need to get the bf109 g-10 to get those fuckers out of the air because every god damn time i play there are 2 us planes in the air at least once per match
To be fair, I endeavor to have a radio operator on every squad I command, which includes my mortar squad. There’s been times when I’m hitting the exact same area with both mortars and artillery. Probably not the best tactic, but meh. I also always play US/USSR, and almost always the Normandy campaign. If I gotta grind to unlock stuff, I’d be insane to actually diversify beyond one side for each locale. Not gonna bother with Berlin until the closed beta testing is done, however I’m quite looking forward to Tunisia.
You cannot really call P-38 and P51 good while Bf-109,110 are in the superior category, weaponwise,loadwise and most likely more maneuverable(did not try the germans). so imo thats why germans got only 1 plane at a time…

My Opinion is the Americans should be able to land out of an Aircraft behind Germans Lines and kill from behind by Night. Like in Real
then try play my round i loose more since the p47 is in because now 2 good cas planes bombing the germans to hell and when you try to get them with your fighter one of them gets you
The Bf109 and Bf110 are definitely better than the P-38 and P-51 at CAS, but I’ve never seen a German outturn a US plane. The P-38 turns very tight at low speed with high flaps, while the P-51 turns tight at moderate speed without flaps. I’ve only lost one turn fight before, and that was before I stopped using flaps on the P-51.
