… a game which, I’m sorry to say, is the wargame I was hoping Enlisted would be when I first started playing it.
Will still play this - just paid for a year’s Premium after all … but it’ll be in my spare time when I don’t have enough time to play that other one.
Really quite disappointed after all this, but not surprised - it didn’t take long to be obvious that this was never going to be an immersive wargame, just took a while to get into one that is such a game.
It’s a great run and gun shooter… but that’s all it is for me.
perhaps you could make a big one and write things that you don’t, or do like.
roughly, i think that i got some similar feelings, although i’m still waiting for PVE in enlisted, or custom games with communities for immersion. so it’s not all that lost.
but, saying that you playing another game without giving the exact reasons ( perhaps a bit more in depth ) doesn’t help that much.
( which it ain’t me you have to explain stuff. i ain’t the one taking feedbacks. but just saying. perhaps somewhere, someone will read. )
Dunno if it is punnishable or not - it just seems impolite, at least.
I think I’ve written plenty about what I don’t like about Enlisted - and it is essentially that it is not a wargame - it is a bit of “ww2 Warhammer40k” - the “universe” is a made up one that looks a bit like WW2, but isn’t really.
A few of the weapons that never made it being in Premium Squads - like the Kalashnikov SMG in Berlin, T-28, T-50, weapons of nations mixed up, no game progression, A13, rubbish damage model for tanks so that 2 pdr struggles with 8mm armour, units all mixed up - umpteen different regiments and divisions in your lineup - and hte thinking that went into (or didn’t) to make those decisions that means there’ll be more of hte same.
Love the models, maps, the idea of AI squads - but for me there has to be a game of substance for it to be more than a bit of fun - of course for many people “a bit of fun” is all they are after - and there’s nothing wrong with that - different strokes for different folks and all that.
But for me it is a better “bit of fun” with a stronger connection to history.
ETA: and ther are servers close by so I have only 70-80 ping - luxury!!

Well, youtubers praise it because you actually get paid to do so because of monetization. Never listen to whats good according to Youtubers
I was waiting for BF, for so long, but when u read, that there is cheats for it, before game comes out, and that most reviews of BF atm, are, yes it good, but so many bugs, etc etc, i be staying with, this game, until, they go too far and change something, that i don’t agree with, like they did to WT naval, newly implemented targeting system.
Which was the last straw for me, and i leave it, after nearly 3 years, and over 4500 hours +, and idk how much $$, just hope i can at least get 2y out of this game, esp as i have 700 days prem time now
Not that i wont walk away again, if they do something just as stupid, in this game.
If you’re all talking about BF 2042 it looks like it’s going to be a buggy broken and unbalanced mess at launch. There are some very big core issues in the beta that they can’t fix in a month like. Player recognition and spotting, serious sound bugs and airplane physics are way off.
Don’t take this the wrong way tho I love BF games and have played almost all of them. I just know they usually launch a broken mess.
Besides Enlisted is great casual fun! Still enjoy the game but I am of course playing other games too.
… but it’ll be in my spare time when I don’t have enough time to play that other one.
