Firstly i like to say that I love QoL changes. Menus are more transparent and easier to use. Still needs lots of imrpovment, mostly in optimising academy and inventory menagment.
As in the title. I use planes regulary and their gameplay is just flawed. Its based on reactive playstyle from the enemy. Most of the time there is just no point in spawning with a fighter unless there is a bomber in the sky. By the time enemy is ready to hunt my bomber down i usually wipe out enemy team 3 or more times with my A20 or other faction counterparts. Its not uncommon to get 30+ kill with one bombing run near objectives and other than spawning with plane, hunting bomber down, suiciding and then getting back to infantry, there is no other reliable way to block team wipes. It takes 20 secods for me form spawning to killing half the enemy team. Thats just bad design - Plane ballance needs massive rework.
There is just little space for air gameplay in infantry focused game. Tanks are fine, they help you push and hold objectives, but if you get overconfident for even few seconds you are punished hard with explosive packs. Sadly thats not the case with planes. I had many games, where i spawned with a bomber and fly whole match wiping out enemies, finishing game having more kills than my whole team combined.

Maybe stationary flak can change this.
And need some up distance from respawn planes to battle field
I think you should get one chance to fly a plane or twice if your a battle pass hold since you can have two, and that goes for using tanks aswell.

I now strongly thinks that players who moan about OP Arty are actually plane players because arty sometimes wipe squad faster than plane. like they dive then arty wipe the point and they waste bombs.

They already have bots. With airfield map they also implemented secondary objective. Maybe secondary objective for every map could be destroy stationary AI emplacement.
Emplacements should be scattered on outer edges of playable area and automaticly shoot every incoming plane. That would make precision strikes much harder at the beggining of the battle. Just make it a little bit more challenging - in order to have safe bombing runs, first you need to bomb 2-3 AI emplacments. Just use what you already have in game and make battlefield more dynamic.
Like on Normandy, ships re shooting at bunkers outside map borders, thats a cool feature

they should have to earn a spot for plane kinda like war thunder based on kills with a tank or infantry kills or even capture points something other than straight to planes in 1 min this would also cut down on the lawn darts as i call them straight into the ground don’t even try to pull up

I liked how it was in CBT, you could shred planes with your MG squads very easily, and planes were still very strong, but at least you could kill them.
AA guns are not a good solution in any way, since they require someone to stay passive, while he would be needed at the objective, and AA tanks would probably be a too strong unit since they would be even better at fighting infantry than regular tanks.
Its just a pain in the ass to balance out aircrafts in there type of games…
Im not suggesting stationary AA for players but manned by AI, something that would shoot in general direction of enemy planes
planes are quick to attack and forewer to respond too !!
It takes time to switch to engenier platoon to build AA or switch to plane to kill enemy bomber !
Also main reason planes are op is that they take vehicle slot and you cant quickly take your fighter to deal with enemy just becouse your tanks are using them !
