While I understand this could backfire because there would be people using it to annoy other users, I would like to suggest that there be the option within the gear slot (by where the binoculars are) the substitutable option is a flare gun with very little munitions that have a suitable lighting range to “mark” zones so that users of planes or even radio squads can have a “specific” mark on their minimap (similar to the ones you see when you are in a mortar) and thus facilitate the attack
