Plane bomb drop markers redundant

I think this new marker is rather unneeded. Bombs are not like grenades anyways and you can’t throw them back, so marker is not really necessary, it lands where it lands and only cue to go prone/take cover should be that whistling sound. And of course bombs also got already enough nerf by changing trajectory of blast, so if any trench is nearby, infantry player is basically safe, additional marker, IMO, gives too much ‘help’ and also not exactly giving more realism to gameplay.

They could keep it for newbies experiencing their first few hours or so, otherwise I agree, it’s like some glowing candy from the sky. Collect 10 and you can relax.

Agreed. It’s completely unnecessary.

No thanks. I for one like the marker. It makes plane main’s job harder and why not just keep it? It’s a large “Bomb nearby!” sign that encourages people to take cover or prone. It’s a good change. Now at least we know where the bomb is, rather than dying outright when hearing the “Thunk” sound with no idea where the damn thing landed.

luckily I dropped a 500kg bomb between a SdKfz 234 and a pz.III, about 3 meters away, and it did nothing, like throwing a stone at them, what is the point of that; much worse with rockets, it’s like throwing hand grenades at them. good rework.gg

So you missed, and it is all the rework’s fault…

I guess it belongs to the other thread,

The bomb markers are irrelevant.

You can literally be standing up, see the pulsing orange bomb marker from 15 meters away and the bombs will, at best, shake your screen despite being 4 times the soldier’s weight.

What’s the point in visual indicators for something that can’t even harm you at the moment?
