Plane balance

No because it’s the only plane that is sometimes easy to kill…planes in general are way to survivable in this game

Well alright you enjoy your fictional world where the JU188 is made of paper but the fighters are invulnerable.

The best fighter in Moscow is the pe 3-a clumsy trough, which, if it sits on the tail, will instantly bring down the stuka, although I don’t know about other planes.

maybe im just unlucky when playing it but most of the times like 60% i get killed very fast when i get shot…at least engine breake and i can manouver anymore…

Like you said in other topics how tankers and infantry should be punished( by pro elite uber skilled pilots i assume) mayby its rhose skillesspilots that need really hard punishment

I am not a pilot main. As I said, I could not care less if planes where removed from the game altogether. Personally, I see no point playing units which are too weak for the meta: rush in, build rally point, spawn the entire team there and clean the objective. Bombers challenged that sort of deal. Now, they aren’t. It makes it even easier for people like me to win, and it allows certain units to be even more op than they were: tanks and engineers. But it is your choice to be obnoxious and unreasonable and rely on idiotic ad hominems because you:

  1. you are unable to understand what you read or 2. you are unable to discuss around the arguments I presented for the health of the game and its balance.

Feel free to argue how I am “ranting and crying”. Otherwise, you are welcome to find someone else to seek free attention from with this sort of puerile rhetoric.

The fact that other aspects of the game are unbalanced does not mean even more things need to be unbalanced.

As is said from the begging, I do not care either way and i am not part of the idiot church of “pilot main, infantry main” and some other childish way of thinking. I am talking about game balance and what I see as overcorrecting things instead of proper balance.

Since an important balancing factor has been overcorrected to the point it is too weak for the meta, it won’t take long until you will find something else that will annoy you: such as tanks and ninja rally points to which you have no answer to, because it is churning out the entire enemy team.

Furthermore, it adds even more units to the list of worthless stuff the game forces you to research and you never use if you understand the meta of this game: sniper squads, radiomen squads, mortar squads, light tank squads, fighters with no rockets, and now fighters with bombs and attackers with bombs.

Expect new things to be overcorrected and rendered more or less pointless, and then you will wonder why do you have to grind to all the filler garbage to get to literally 3-4 units which are any good out of an entire campaign.

We’ll see who was right.

The normandy bombers were absolutely stupid, sure. But this issue was exacerbated by stupidity, 99% of the players never build rally points to flank, and keep spawning and attacking the points in a straight line, completely out of cover.

For the other campaigns, bombers were fine, if not underpowered in some cases (except the lack of cover not working, which was fixed).

I do not mind planes being essentially removed from the game. I like the tank & infantry combat more, anyway. But, it won’t take long until further overcorrections will be applied to invasions (in particular) because the attacking side has been handed a very important advantage: not having to deal with planes, which allows for parking tanks in sniping positions and building rally points and offensive AAs to which the defenders have no answer.

Then, players will find other things they want changed, because they cannot see further than what is in front of their face.

PPL do build rally points these days more often.
Maps how ever still are ridiculously small to do any effective flanking to avoid bombers and the CP’s are still stationary so regardless even if you managed to flank at edge of maps you still die at CP to bombs which are ridiculously effective considering map / CP size.

They wont remove them but the bomb nerf was justified even if we disregard the utterly useless AA & broken plane models the bombs were just way too powerful.

Probably but currently I cant figure anything else being capable to obliterate entire enemy team by dropping bomb to 100x100 area.

Planes are just fine. I had 60 kills in one match last night, in a P-51, and the dude maining the German 190 did even better. (As an aside, he was a fine pilot and sent me to the dirt twice.)
