This is a wider problem that could have different feelings for each so i start simple.
By adding this simple tan shirt thats on further mentioned squads to every one as this looks much better than the one with the green hue and having all of your soldiers with binos.

Regarding customization there seems to be something that allows later unlocked squads like rifleman 2,3 MG3 and Assaulter 4 to have increased customization probably as they are unlocked later…
These vary from things as simple as this shirt and one that’s brown, shorts to paratrooper clothing and volkssturm bands.
And one example… the german sniper squad being the only one to have the white pants for the bulge… completely irrelevant to their purpose in fact as snipers primarily cared about their top profile.
