To avoid overheating I run at 97-98, is 100 going to cause overheating, or above 100 does?
I fly mainly in Normandy. At the moment, I have such a proven practice: all Luftwaffe aircraft fly safely at 110% percent of engine power for the entire round. All US aircraft (except the P-38, this aircraft can fly for a very long time at 110% power) overheat if the engine power is over 90%.
Only 110 Kill the engine 90-100 is fine

Overheating at full throttle is unrealistic and wouldn’t actually happen unless oil is gone/and or radiator damaged (if applicable) or improper mixture setting
Only way a engine would overheat at full throttle is with low airspeed/or no airspeed (on the ground)
