Pilot for Fw 189 A-1

Hello everybody.
The Fw 189 A-1, which was a Summer Event reward a couple years ago, is one of my all-time favorite planes.
The plane has a B.R. 1. I was just informed today, by a Community Helper, that it requires an Attack Pilot III to fly.
That particular pilot is received with the Me 410 A-1/U2 in Tier 4.

So, please correct me I am wrong, we need to unlock a B.R. 4 plane (in Tier 4) to fly a B.R. 1 plane.
A plane that we did an event for.

I would like to suggest a compromise. I’m not asking for an Attacker I pilot, how about we meet in the middle and require an Attacker II pilot?

If we need to unlock a Tier 4 plane… Who would even go back to Tier I at that point?

What say you all?

Some of these combinations are a bit non-sensical I agree.

I think this will all get looked at in some priority order, although I can’t really figure out what that might be from Gaijin’s perspective. There have been quite a few complaints about all sorts of things ranging from customisation breakdowns, poor BR separation to these strange legacy campaign lockouts.
