On Moscow, on Level 22 you unlocked Tanker II Class and a separate new Tank Squad
On Normandy, you unlocks the the new tank squad at Level 20.
However on Berlin, as of now you don’t. Level 22 still doesn’t unlocker Tanker II. And not even on level 26. I think Tanker II shouldn’t be used for Tigers/ IS-2. That should be Tanker III
Can we please change the Tank Destroyers so they are in a separate squad instead of the one that shares with Panther / T-34?
Both of these tanks are worst than the T-34-85 and the Panther counterpart and there’s no reason to use them. And especially since they are Tank Destroyers being new to all Campaign they really should be in a New Squad.
There is no point selecting it over a panther, or a pz4 over a panther right now and vice versa…once we unlock a better tank, there is no point going back. Having a unique squad per tank would give us options in-game…

Not only that, the lv 22 + unlocks are all planes ??? For a city battle ???
Also note that Panther G at BR 6.0 is highly contentious - its there as a dodgy to plug holes in tech trees, in all aspect the addtional armour it carries is offset from the A by a lower top speed, and given the lamentable mix up of WWII and post war vehicles that exists at the 5.7 to 6.7 boundary the Panther’s armour at 5.7 is almost irrelevant, and at 6.0 obsolete.
Just like when you used to unlock the Stuka and IL-2 before the Chaika and Hs 123 in Moscow.
The fix was trading their positions in the campaign.

techicaly speaking, these TD’s are just as powerful as the earlier unlocks, with the downside of having no turret, yet it gets unlocked later in the game…
yea this would ONLY make sense if these vehicles have their own crew + later in the game better TD’s to upgrade them.
but still, i like that they added somethin new and interesting !

Ill probably not use said tank just because a panther G it’s just an amazing beast (imo) versus current tanks.
I’ll go for batlepass panther G. But sadly without a unique squad. I won’t use said TD tank.
The German one have a huge flaw by design on the front armor…
If it’s the same as warthunder it’s a no go for me. But, I have to wait and test it out.
A unique squad with it would make sence if latter on more td tanks be implemented.and for a in-game point of view, swapping a panther G for that TD… It’s just wrong
Makes sense, why would you reduce your capability given the dreadful clutter on Fall of Berlin maps, which are going to further challenge the ability to position your AFV in some semblance of a support or attack by fire position. I’ve done some considerable tanking already on most of the Berlin maps where there is a reason do so so - ie sufficient external capture points.
Once ppl drive the TDs around a bit realise that the massive craters and other junk piles play havoc with their elevation and depression angles, which are much worse than the tanks’, they will simply not use them. Whilst the SU-85 has some RNG playing in its favour (much like the current T34-85s) the German TD is the Alkett alternative variant not the main run Vomag variant. Most notably because the Alket variant was a rush job in order to get more vehicles into combat it has some significant design flaws the most noticeable is that it still uses the majority of the PzIVJ hull - which as we know is a “piniata” for the Soviet 85mm guns. This is just bad game design and old school Russian bias. I thought they got this sort of crap out of their system in WT. Guess not, they’ve just extended it to Allied bias by doing the same dodgy ahistorical line ups in the Normandy Campaign as well.
