Perk stacking

As I have been learning more about the game and soldier perks, I have questions on perk stacking. I cannot find anything recent on the forums so I am starting this topic. I feel like they have even updated this in 2026 but could not find the dev blog.

So, do starter perks stack with reg perks? I have seen someone say yes, but only one “level” of the reg perks. Some say all reg perks can stack with the starter perk. I want an answer because I don’t want to waste perk points on reg perks that are not doing me any good. Thanks for the info!

yes it stacks with absolute no problem that overall means…if my solider have 20% vertical recoil control and i give to it 4/4 on vertical control he will have 60% same goes to vitality, speed, reload, weapon switching etcetera

overall you can make a soldier cracked in certain area lets take the rifleman II where it has a 5% bonus sprint speed if we give it the 15% speed perk that means it will have 20%

Another lesser known fact is that the more points you have you gain a slight bonus in stats.

Weapon = 0.5% vertical recoil per point
Vitality = 1% stamina per point
Mobility = 0.5% sprint speed per point
