Perks are a complete joke in the game now, I guess this is just the lull before they add the option to buy the perk you want for silver orders.
I held on to a load of retraining perks as well and these are now just a hinderance because the game mechanism doesn’t remove the perk you want to remove from the total therefore only rolling perks you can afford, rerolled twice today and got offered the same perk back in the reroll twice.
I can see this being an element of the game a large part of the community will just ignore now because it is impossible to build the soldiers you want with the perks you want, and it’s pure luck if you get anything remotely good.
Only with fresh new soldiers and stacking the perks until your soldiers are level 5 do you stand any chance. All the grinding you’ve done in game to get level 5 soldiers prior to the latest upgrade is sort of null and void.
If you have lets say 16 hearts and have a perk that costs 8 and you reroll the 8 one you can get the vitality one… but rng is so bad that i witnessed myself burning 60 rerolls and not having the one i desired, which i find bad given the current no-reroll-point system but level down → grind → reroll.
If someone is unlucky it might take forever lol
1/ yes you do get the points from the perk you are wanting to change - so, as noted below, if you have 8 perk points available and you remove an 8 point perk then you might get a 16 point one in return
2/ it ALWAYS gives you the option of retaining the one you want changed, so actually you only get 2 possible new ones. And the chances of getting the one you want in those 2 is pretty low because there are many for it to randomly choose from.
This is exactly as it was before the latest update - hasn’t changed at all.
Oh my fucking god, who would spend soo much on that game, it’s almost 2 months worth of my work christ sake I have to buy food and gasoline for my car, u are some kind of narko baron or what? XD I could buy 2 used cars for this and re-sell them to make more of it
