Every military in WW2 used different types of stimulants to different degrees
Germany/Pervitin, US/Benzedrine and Japan/USSR to a lesser extent, less documented at least
-Used in medkit / tools slot
-Effect lasts 1-2 minutes
Positive Effects:
Increase speed of doing almost anything
-Increase speed/quickness of pretty much everything (2%-5%? idk):
-Sprint/run
-weapon aim/ reload
-crawl/prone movement/.changing positions
-in/out vehicle
-building for engineers
If you switch soldiers after taking “Pep Pills” the AI would also react quicker/fight slightly better overall (similar boost to upgraded soldiers/weapons but stackable)
-Also gives the same benefits as the flask (Restore stamina and increase regen rate)
BUT unlike taking a few seconds it would the “Pep Pills” would be consumed almost instantly
Negative effects:
-Jitteriness, reduce aim stability 3-5%
-Tunnel vision, slight fuzzy ring around soldiers peripheral vision, also HUD slightly fuzzy but still visible
After Effect
-After effect wears off, all stats that we’re improved are lowered below base level (by half as much as they we’re increased?)
-Negative effects persist during after effect period, but also at half of amount as during the effect
-After-effect duration is half as long as initial effect, unless player re-doses.
