I created an topic in russian-language section with comparison by people voting of STEN and MP35/1. One comrade said, that it is false-made voting for many reasons, including absence of analogical topic in English-language section.

true, it’s recoil pattern is so weird…circular…damage wise it’s decent. if only it’s recoil pattern is normal.
it’s bad enough they even put them as the first unlock smg in Tunisia

i don’t really see the comparison as both are quite different and behave different.
although, the mp35 is essentially better than the sten for obv reasons.

They are both SMGs on 22 lvl at Normandy.
To “get” people’s opinion about the most strange (for me) levels at Normandy. When I’ll have it, I’ll have the strongest argument to change Normandy campaign levels.

well, this game is meant to be asymetrical balanced ( exscuses from devs their selves as " war isn’t fair " ) so…
yeah, nothing strange or unusual for it’s standards ( or compared to others campaigns ).

( quite alot to be honest. as in one year of this game, i have never saw a campaign level being changed unless it was CBT berlin / tunisia / normandy. so yeah, they don’t change levels at all. that’s all )

Sten is a crude gun made from shower pipes. It’s basicly a Lanchester, but they removed everything, that wasn’t necessary for the gun to function. They should really replace the Sten Mk2 in Normandy for the Sten Mk 5. It was indeed used by British paratroopers on D-Day, and then they could keep the Mk2 for Tunis.

They can’t even return normal characteristics for shotguns, let alone balance.

they quite often change stats of weapons, revert/nerf/buff weapons ( just like happened with the fg and bars ). the only reason why the shotguns are still shit, it’s because devs want them to be shite despite people asking for revert their damage.
but they never actually changed or switched campaign levels rifles.

The answer to your question is more than obvious to anyone. Sten is bottom tier and mp35 is top tier.
Campaign levels do not need to change because of the counterparts at the same level, has nothing to do with the game. Its aimed to have an overall balance not level for level.
Would not want anything changed in the campaign progression, seems pretty decent to me overall.
That said, having some random people read your post and a few respond is hardly a good way to gather solid info.
Would say you are wasting your time.

The only thing I like about the Sten is the audio, the gun can’t hit shit past 20 feet.
