I’ve seen this with a few other developers, and I really like it. When a change or addition is made that is community driven or suggested, make a small symbol by it on the patch notes (annotating that it means such on the bottom of the page). This for one, reinforces the idea that the community can make desired changes through channels and two encourages more to submit their ideas.
