Paratroopers should not drop combat ready

this rambo like nonsense needs to go, you can’t seriously want a game where people drop on top of a objective and start wiping squads the second they land.

this should not be a viable tactic, doing this should result in loss of your squad.

5 seconds to detach your parachute, ready up your weapons etc should result in you not being able to fight the second you land - which will fix paratroopers.

Some people want a customizable loadout for the drop crate, this will make the paratroopers even more powerful as people will choose the best weapons to be dropped, lol.

If it’s in the crate then it’s ok imo.
In hand - light / weak weapons
In crate - heavy / good weapons


Personally I’d like paras to be more realistic (planes easy to shoot down, worse start weapons, delay between landing and combat ready like in OP etc.). But devs made them this way because more realistic paras would be unplayable.

They don’t wanna fix it they like the concept of the allies going Rambo never mind the Germans can’t do the same thing with 20 round mag

And I do not want to hear people talking about the dispersion how bad it is it’s great in close quarters and people drop in the combat zone not 100 meters away

I dont know how many times you played against/with paras but with current maps %50 of landigs ends with disaster

Make paratrooper can shoot while parachuting down.

I agree it should take them a moment to become combat ready. That said, I still don’t think paratroopers should get the ability to build rally points.

It’s not practical to assault an objective with 20 round magazine versus 100

Try Pacific, where Japanese paras with default 5rds BA are actually better at it than US with default M1.

That doesn’t really help when all the allies there are brain dead and the majority of them are bots good for killing bots but not against players So get off your high horse and FG is not great for storming an objective versus 100 round machine guns or MG

the thing is that the drop crate seems to go against every other part of the game;
if at the start of the match you could just pick your units that you’d use in said match; then it would be fine, but the way the crate works now you’ve basically got a “wildcard” unit or two.
