As some already started unlocking paras, along with the premium ones, I noticed something weird:
The “diminished damage after hard landing” perk is not available to paras.
It is weird, because hard landing is literally the class job, it’s what they do. Pilots have it, and they’re not supposed to use it in the first place (unless crashing down).
Please consider making the perk available for paras, as it is tailored for them.

Do the Paras, all drop from a set height? or it is variable height?
I would say they don’t need if, from a set height, but as a pilot bailing closer to the ground?, can see the need
You manually deploy the parachute. So with less fall damage perk you could open it later and make yourself even harder to hit.
Perfectly valid tactic, it was used also in H&G.
but is it a set height, before u drop, say 600m then you get to manually open it?
but maybe they don’t get perk due to, not all are meant to make it down? bit much to want all to land un harmed 
Heroes and Generals i can freefall, and para fall at the best time, no damage
here on the best time around 250 meters you get hurt very badly
I miss the old parachute action you got in BF42/BF2, when when deployed the chute, you could then use your weapons, ie drop a gren/mine on tanks etc, spot with scoped rifle etc etc
