Who are you talking to?
Yeah, donât waste your time on Sheeple.
Heâs maybe trolling.
Notoriously shit-posting in any case.
Couldnât help yourself, could you Forlorn?
The guy who said :
Your say in the matter, is irrelevant. You already established why youâre here
âThe one, who offers highly contested opinions/actions, that turn out to be non-deliberate and counterproductive feeding this Levathian.â
I would say that quote refers to a lot of us playing this game(maybe even you).
HOWEVER. This post is 3 months old and I think we have been seeing a lot of good and promising things in this game lately.
The future looks very bright and I believe this year will be huge for Enlisted.
That is true. The game is still in beta and TONS of things could change.
Just give it a rest
No Iâm not telling you do anything because thatâs not something I control. Youâve been proven wrong that paratroopers are an exploit Thatâs all.
I just donât understand why youâre being so angry and vindictive, bashing this game, calling it boring, obsolete and dead, saying youâre gonna quit, and then turn around and and say you care. Thatâs not how constructive criticism works. Part of constructive criticism is having solutions, which you donât. You kinda brought up some, like spawn times, but most of your post is just complaining and bashing.
You could have brought up issues like spawn times and given realistic solutions and had an actual reasonable discussion. Same thing with developer greed. But thatâs not what happened. Youâve just been getting needlessly hostile at anyone who counters you. Thatâs not constructive.
You lost a game because a paratrooper squad used their resources and bested your team, through means that could have been achieved without the squad, and your team failed to anticipate and counterattack. Thatâs what happened.
Yes. Because you have one, one bad match as an example. Thatâs not enough to identify a problem or form an argument. Hundreds of matches are played per hour. Youâre gonna need more evidence than that. And I mean a lot more.
Take a look at Quadro, one of the top Enlisted CCs. He criticizes Enlisted frequently but always offers concrete, realistic solutions. And rarely is he hostile. He is also a big proponent of paratroopers and made a great video about why they are good for the game.
You can choose whether to play the game or not. You can. But for the fifth damn time, paratroopers arenât going anywhere. Bombing runs are still here even though theyâre universally hated. Itâs just not happening. Thereâs no point in getting this mad over things that are completely out of your control.
I donât really care though. I enjoy this game. I enjoy paratroopers. Thereâs other problems that affect all players in all campaigns. So Iâm gonna do what you clearly canât: accept defeat. I was not able to show you that paratroopers are just fine, and if balance is your concern, then you have much bigger problems to worry about.
Donât bother responding, I doubt youâre even listening. But hopefully someone sees this and doesnât make the same mistake you did.
You havenât proven anything. All you have done is stated your position/opinion on the matter.
And no worries, after this message, Iâm not going to give you anymore of my time. Itâs apparent you want to TELL ME HOW IT IS, even though you have done nothing to change my mind (regarding paratroopers being an exploit)
This is hilarious. You werenât even playing in the match, and I wasâŚ
Yet, youâre telling me how the game went (all based off scenarios that youâre literally making up, and then implying that we could have simply killed the paratrooper squad.)
You. Werenât. There.
And youâre telling me how it went, while ignoring the facts (from the person who played the match, and observed the paratrooper exploit with my own eyes)
Thereâs no sense wasting my time talking to you. because youâre living in a fantasy world.
Stop gaslighting me with your bullshit.
Obviously they arenât going anywhere. Itâs too late. People have already spent their money. Thereâs no refunds, and now the game is forever plagued with elite squads that can appear anywhere on the map.
Hey look, itâs Berlin event, and I was the only human player on my team. Wahoo! Nine A.I. teammates!
Hey look, itâs Tunisia, and itâs also another empty match. Good thing the A.I. is there to auto-fill all the empty seats.
4 human players vs 3 human players! (So much fun!)
How many A.I. do you count on the scorecard?
Quitters, A.I. Squads, and new players. (match ended in 15 minutes)
Youâre in no position to tell me anything. I trust my own experiences much more than a random person on the internet, who is defending his $60 investment.
(Also, your account is only 3 days old. So Iâm just guessing youâre somebody Iâve spoken to before. Just hiding behind a different name, while attempting to gaslight me and tell me how it is.
I see you
Iâve never called myself a useful idiot, nor a sheep. Nor am I here to feed the Leviathan.
If youâve noticed⌠my handle says sheeple are nuts (SheepleRnutz).
But anywaysâŚ
Time will tell. It would be great to see the game prosper, and excel. Iâm not discrediting the devlopers/moderators/helpers who have all put in a lot of hard work. But still⌠the issues remain the same, and only thing that keeps this game going is the money generated from the playerbase.
If too many people leave (or at the least, stop spending money), and all you have left are the loyal veteran players, and Free-2-play players⌠then there wonât be enough of an income to support all of the expenses involved with keeping the game operational.
If enough people give up on the broken matches/empty matches/stacked matches, and the income does not meet the goals of the people who own the company, the owners will kill the game whether you like it, or not. Theyâll use the money for new projects.
Yeah I doubt that, considering I said:
And then you gave me this. Honestly, Iâm enjoying this now. This however, will be my last post. Messing with some of the Axis mains like you is fun an all, but it has to stop at some point. Here we go.
I have, you just wonât listen. Not my problem.
Kinda, yeah. I explained to you exactly why paratroopers arenât an exploit. And you got upset because it contradicted your personal experience.
No, I donât need to. Iâm not going to repeat myself.
Yes, Iâm explaining what should have happened. You provided video clips. We can see what happened.
Lack of situational awareness. And you donât need paratrooper squads to clear a point.
Yeah. Thereâs no reason why this forum post even exists.
This isnât the flex you think it is.
Congratulations, youâve accepted reality. My work here is done.
Uhh⌠still a completely different issue? Werenât you telling me to stay on topic?
Yeah⌠but if you make a laughable forum post complaining about a loss in a battle, just expect to be ridiculed.
If thatâs true, then yet another reason this forum post shouldnât exist. Also, correction: experience. As in singular.
I mean I guess? Still not the flex you think it is. They havenât provided me with any significant advantage, theyâre just crazy fun to use. In fact, I tried your roof landing on Steel Mill and spoiler alert: half my squad was dead before touching the roof, and the rest were picked off by snipers. Since 1 game is enough to prove a point apparently.
The P-47 is still better if all I want to do is clear points.
Umm⌠ok? I mean I get youâre out of arguments and just want to get personal, but that was a really half-assed attempt.
Your options are to either find a way to live with paratroopers or quit. Itâs not in your control nor is it in mine. There was no reason for all that. You could have devoted your time to an issue that actually affects all players, identified problems and solutions, and had a reasonable conversation. But⌠yeah.
Thanks for the entertainment though. Itâs fun watching some of you Axis mains squirm when the game shifts and you lose your competitive edge. Youâve forgotten what itâs like to really get stomped, so when you actually do, it hurts. And then stuff like this happens.
I love the Paras, Pretty much pulled a Eben Emael on D-Day last night. Our team was not doing well, they were pushed back to the grey along the whole frontline by a Super aggressive counter attack Defending team (much better aggression wise).
So While everyone was getting grinded down, It was pretty funny to just drop in behind to an uncontested cap (maybe 1 squad on point using the mg emplacements). and because it was bunkers, Good luck getting back inside once you got 100 round Thompsons inside.
ended up doing this 4 times to win the game. Enemy team didnât adapt, kept wave attacking (abusing unlimited respawns) pushing to the grey (which usually spells gg until paras were added). As an old Heroes and Generals Fallschirmjager player I am very happy. Adds a new dynamic that needs to be accounted for.
Sounds like a great opportunity for the losing team to exploit the game. Just like my match from OP.
An elite squad from Special Forces, was flown into the middle of an open battlefield, and dropped off by a very brave pilot. Whom of which, if weâre allowing any room to compare reality from fantasyland, the pilot would have accepted a suicide mission.
Because in the 1940âs⌠if a solo C-47 attempted to hot-drop a single squad of soldiers, into the middle of an open battlefield (in broad daylight)⌠Wherever they deployed from, they probably wouldnât survive long enough to get even close to the battlefield.
Imagine the germans in Normandy WW2, and you see a single C-47 flying at a low altitudeâŚ
The miltary radioâs would be chattering away, and the plane would be blasted out of the sky before they even had a chance to deploy near the objective (A single MG42 wouldâve done the job. But theyâd probably just use a Flak gun)
Also, there would literally be hundreds or thousands of soldiers in the area⌠All of which have guns to shoot at the solo C-47
(Not 10 humans and a battlefield of scripted robots)
(Also, the C-47 would have to travel from an airfield, and fly across contested/enemy territory. How many miles, I wonder? 30 miles? 50 miles? 100 miles? All by their lonesome? Without getting shot down, before they arrived to the objective (in the middle of an active battle).
Why do you think the paratroopers were deployed in mass?
Good thing the paratroopers in Enlisted, are entirely based from fantasyland. Other than the fact that these soldiers use parachutes, jump from aircraft, and are wearing paratrooper uniforms⌠theyâre being utilized in an entirely fictional way. Of which, the majority of the situations would be impossible for anybody to accomplish.
This is the type of mechanic/implementation that youâd expect in a Vietnam game (with transport helicopters), or modern warfare (with precision parachutes, and high-altitude para-drops from C-17âs or aircraft similar).
But not hereâŚ
For $60, players can exploit the tactic as you described above, and take what sounded like a guaranteed loss⌠into a guaranteed victory.
Can you attach a scorecard? Itâs be nice to know the skill level of both rosters that you were playing with/against. As well as the A.I. composition.
Sorry mate, I wasnât here to argue any point, I just think they are fun.
haha well, strictly speaking. I would have got slaughtered if they looked up, or took into account I was going to do it again. I mean, no skill needed to cap an empty point . But no, they were quite content to be anywhere else but.
I think the general Idea of what paratroopers are for used for exists. get behind enemy lines and disrupt, and take and hold key positions from behind where they are weakest. And with 10 players a side, proportion based, 1 or 2 guys is en masse.
I can look through the replays when I get home and find it if you like. But like I said I was only stating it was fun, not here for or against your position, just indifferent for now.
That is until 10 players have multiple paras in their decks and start wave spawning on caps at the same time and overwhelming the current cap mechanic, I can see that happening down the line if they dont hard cap paras at one squad in a players deck (or cooldown between transport planes)
Sounds good man. Thanks for the clarification. Nor am I trying to steal your thunder/fun. My apologies if my message appeared argumentative.
@SheepleRnutz , How about you join Darkflow and help them solve the problem together.
Just get a job in Darkflow, stop being fed by your family members.
It would be great if you can solve the problem while getting a job in darkflow.
I really think that this topic should be closed by now, because all i can see is whining, paras are not imbalanced, i played paras in a pacific, sometimes i can go and build rally point, sometimes my dropped box is getting rage of bullets, WP and molotovs, this guy couldnât get enough situatinal awarenes to shot paras down. Also them winning a game, so you manage to lost other 4 objectives and now another one lost objective when paras came, made you rage, i managed to clean the point sometimes not by paras but by assaulters, so NerF them too?)
This guy can not get enough copium that he is just so bad at game, i bet you have never seen paras in a game like H&G. Paras there is some sort like paras here, can they clean one point by themselves? yes, can they capture point from a roof? yes. (I mean roof capture shouldnât be allowed, like that church point in a pacific)
Enlisted was about something historical but now (as you should have guessed) its not, i mean itâs nice to see some historical things but this game is more arcady, also how many games let us play as paras.
Itâs so interesting how three days in a row, Iâve been trolled by people who have new accounts on this forum. You guys too scared to talk to me from your original handles, or what?
Get lost.
Just chill dude. Clearly you lost the other points to the enemy and then you lost the last point due to the ingenuity of a squad dropping on top of your cap. Life is not still and you have to adapt to it.
