Paratroopers are so stupid

There’s no way you ran 150-200m into the enemy grey zone and placed a mine in their tank spawn

It is also not necessary to go UNTIL the tanks respawn (because there is not enough time, as you said), just planting a mine on the way is enough (hint so you can do it next time).

If you had read my comment correctly, you would have also seen that I was referring to rally points…

Quit kidding yourself mate  you don’t even know how they grey zone works. You physically can’t get to the enemy tank spawn on foot and place a mine. It’s impossible. Not to mention that tanks usually have 2 spawn locations.

We were talking about placing mines in tank spawns which you also said you place AT mines in the grey zone. I’m not talking about rally points.

Mate you’re the only one talking nonsense. Paratroopers are a thing, this is how they are played. Get over it, they are necessary for attacking and are easy countered by competent defenders. Cope more.

If you’re determined enough you can glitch into the grey zone and Paratroopers with a base vitality and more vitality can walk into the grey zone a little bit longer than regular soldiers

Hmm an extra 2 seconds in the grey zone with 47% vitality. Hardly noticeable and still not able to get into tank spawns on foot or from the air.

Sword and flask makes a lot of difference if you really wanna be a troll

Still makes no difference, you can’t cover 150m in the grey zone with max vitality, all the speed perks and a sword. Just not possible.

Still more effective than using regular soldiers to go into the Gray zone

Attacking the point before the paratroopers join was not a problem.
Now they just offer a more brain-dead way to attack.

Its not even attacking, its snowballing and completely skipping the most important part of that gamemode - actually attacking the objective.

You completely ignore the rules of battle and instead of fighting and working to bring the frontline to the objective you simply spawn on top of it.

Also the fact that they defend it by saying it is not effective anyways while also claiming that it is needed shows they lack every aspect of reason and general understanding of the flow of the game.

Strategically dropping behind enemy rallies to stop the flow of defenders isn’t a brain dead way of playing. It’s a way to break through tough defending teams and if they counter you, then good on the defenders for playing well. Y’all keep crying about paratroopers, they aren’t going to change them with crappy restrictions. Get good and learn to counter them, it’s not hard.

Ain’t no rules in battle/war. You’re there to win the match and if you steamroll the defending team because they can’t reorganise on the objective before you drop in, then it’s their fault. Keep crying man, you’re lucky paratroopers are only event/premiums otherwise you’d be complaining even more about spam.

yup. that is another attractive of low BR. it stays RELATIVELY quiet in the para front, at the moment.

high BR, on the other hand, is just a completely different beast. the moment the para rain meta infects low BRs, is the moment i will seriously give the game a second thought.

but i written already enough about that. i been told it was mostly a skill issue, paras drop extremely slow, you almost cant avoid killing their entire squads with ease, hell it sounds as if they just simply die of heart attacks while descending. all is balanced and good.

I share my to cents here:
Paratroopers are not that kind of OP if players change then awareness to strictly horizontal to horizontal+vertical.
Once you hear an aircraft sound followed by the AA effect, check the scoreboard if one of your friends joined in as paratroopers and then look in the sky.
Paratroopers that jump directly on the cap are mostly ineffective and breakfast. And even if they jump advanced on the flanks, you have plenty of time to snipe them down or run to that position and counter them.
The only one that suffers a bigger damage or passive played tanks way back in protection.

i sometimes wonder if i am playing on a separate custom server only mounted for me, my experiences in battle differ that much from the “git gud” and “skill issue” and “flank it, bro” answers i see constantly on these forums…is practically like im playing a different game.

In my experience, the main problem with this whole para issue is the team not falling back to defend quick enough and instead playing for kills.

If you have even one squad on the objective then you can often wipe a para squad before they land.

Admittedly very frustrating, but not really the fault of the paras. I don’t actually play para that much because it takes so long to land - just often use them the flank a distant tank or get a wide rally up.
