does anybody have worse game performance on the pacific?

no other campaign get me so many fps drops as the pacific.

Pacific been having issues since Mudan and New Georgia map…

same here, it really pains me I like Pacific but I get fps drops down to 40 sometimes, it really make my plays awful in some cases.

on the other hand I have no issues in big action at all, it’s astonishing.

Played Pacific mostly as BR2 US, then as Jp most of last 2 days - no issues here at the bottom of the world where ping is a minimum of 200!

Yeah - got sick of losing as US, so thought I’d lose as Japan instead - plan worked perfectly!! :exploding_head:

Japan is much easier to make a lineup - even with the old tree fully completed there are only 2-3 of each squad type, so much MUCH less confusion selecting squads!

And at BR2 it’s reasonably competitive - Zero’s out maneuver P-38’s very nicely!!

yeah it was the reason I started playing Pacific now too, so much less confusing… but the fps drops :weary:

Be nicer if the Hei rifle wasn’t BR III, as i have many of them, as there’s no semi auto rifle for BR II.

Can understand the Hei Extended at BR IV, but no semis at all at BR II :sob:

I actually like that there’s no br2 semi auto in any faction, on top of that I LOVE type 99 rifle it has 42rpm and the bolt animation/reload is perfect, no more super soldiers with ultra bolt action speed

I wish all bolt action to be around 40rpm, it looks and feels just right.

yes i under stand many like bolt action games,
but i find with as mentioned before with pings of 200 min to servers, i find bolties not that enjoyable to use, with 200 pings, but a semi at least can get shots of, and maybe jag a kill here and there.

And on Original questions, yes there is a notable diff between all campaigns i had noticed, before merge.

Ie Normandy was polished, played like a dream,
Tunisia slight drop in performance compared to Normandy,
Pacific was way worse in performance for me, compared to Tunisia, just my 2 cents

no Oceania server yet, eh?

thanks, I had no problem with Tunisia, but I haven’t really check my performance loss, as long as it’s over 60fps it’s fine

Never will be, we have been asking for as long as game was around :stuck_out_tongue:

I have np with any i mention, all playable,
just Normandy, felt like game, movement was smooth/silky
Tunisia a bit grittier, maybe is all the sand, but still get stuck on stuff moving about
Pacific feels like you having to force your player, to move through the map, up and down, just doesn’t glide like the Normandy maps?, maybe because the jungle is alive , ie moving trees ?

For me personally the performance on Pacific maps actually improved after the merge update. Before I’ve had some fps drops below 60 in specific parts of New Georgia map, now not so much if at all, but overall performance on Pacific maps is worse than on all others.

Never likely to be - so I play this and WT with Ping 200 all teh time - still better than many - even in air combat where it does actually matter a lot.

Only time you really se it is when you come around a corner and someone is looking at you - both appear to fire, but their ping means they hit you before you even fire on the server, which is where it matters!

Would rather put up with that very occasional issue than play a server with only a handful of people on it!

Speaking of which, any USA players have a issue with main spawn point?, not sure if it was the new map, but, couple of times yesterday, was loosing a member or two at spawn, just stuck, in the tents there?, not only mine, but other players also, have SS somewhere.

And also i had the wonder plane, at some time during the day :stuck_out_tongue:
