Pacific Maps re Water Access

Pacific Maps re Water Access

There are several battles on the Pacific Maps that take place on—or next to—the shoreline. Unfortunately, water access to amphibious tanks & boats is cut off (or limited) due to the borders of the map—i.e. the map is too small.

Since these are the only maps with amphibious tanks (and boats), doesn’t it makes sense to extend the borders of the map further out into the ocean so we can use these vehicles for more dynamic game play? Otherwise, what’s the point of having amphibious tanks & boats if we can’t use them properly? The borders should be extended so that both teams have access to the water.

I can’t imagine that this would take too much time to change. Probably just a few numbers to extend the borders on each map. Note, not only should the borders be extended out into the ocean… they should also extend further into each side’s territory. Thus, the borders would be extended on 3 sides. This allows for proper flanking, which is extremely difficult to properly execute on most maps in the game.

Also, it would be helpful in boats if the driver position was a bit higher. Currently, when the boat is filled with bots, you can’t see where you’re going. If the seated position was higher for the driver, you could see over the heads of the bots in front of you.

Minor changes for better game play…

Don’t worry, there won’t be/aren’t anymore amphibious tanks in the pacific until they add them back as an exclusive premium.
But yes, larger maps in general would be nice.

What to do in this situation, is when your squad is in the boat, switch to the bot that is the most towards the bow. You will be able to control the boat still but have a good vantage point.

Thanks, didn’t know that!

There is non premium amphibious tank in game, the Japanese ka mi tank.

Biggest issue of ka mi is binoculars not water limit.
It has thin armor
For some reason binoculars are not useable
