Did you have to get them during the event?
Tried redeeming them just now and nothing happened 
how tf you tried just now? there is not even option to buy them out of event
They are listed in the logistics section - click on the icon, it gives hte option to buy and says it costs 1 ticket - click the buy button and nothing happened - no message to say purchased, my tickets were not depleted.
I have hte 3 tickets.
I’ve seen other people using the katana- so it must have been possible.
It should be possible during the next event if you can no longer use them now. That’s the way it usually works.
I also wouldn’t recommend buying the katana unless you know full well what you’re giving up just for the meme decision to have a “real” katana.

The meme is worth more than all the other swords I have put together - and so far I think I’ve only missed 1 of them over the 2 years or so! 
well I spend already those 3 ticket during event, thats probably why I dont have that logistic option already
and yes, it worked perfectly fine during it idk why now swords are not available
