P47 OP v2

i can see he is suffering from some sort of rare disease, and is making no sense arguments wise

but i dont see why you would have a problem reading it if you passed 5th grade English

Deciphering the runes of a long lost proto human is far above the reading level of a 5th grader

This guy is completely unintelligible and inconsolable about the handholding the faction he loves has. He’s taking all of this shit personally as an attack on him.

And, the mud slinging returns! It’s like adults today can’t disagree without insulting each other or something. Facepalm

These are not arguments, they’re not engaged with the discussion. “Learn to play” and “Just flank it” are not universal end-all statements to game balance discussions. Disagree with the idea, that’s your right, but leaning on the “git gud” crutch is a tactic designed to get the person you’re arguing with angry, and he took your bait.

This is a solid point, in the absence of a hostile fighter. In an otherwise empty sky, the A20 is going to have an advantage in tons dropped because it RTBs faster. However, it’s eaten alive by BF109s, less so by the FW190 because of the bugs. The JU188 and BF110 both outmaneuver the P38g/J, and the P51C is undergunned for dealing with them efficiently.

You’re right, the M2 Carbine is a fine weapon when used skillfully within the confines of it’s capabilities.

I’d argue that the allied side in normandy doesn’t currently have superior equipment, especially for the maps we play on. Axis armor have better guns at every tier, and godly armor in the panther to go with it. The Carbines are great up close, like the SMGs, but that’s not much of an advantage if you’re getting blown off the beach by a panther while under machinegun fire from six directions. You have real LMGs instead of the Bren and BARs, and you get the MKb. I also agree that powercreep isn’t good, and the FG42 is only as OP as it is because you can give them to everyone. Give them to gunners instead, move M2 carbine to assaulters, and the balance would be closer.

The 1911 does hit harder than every other pistol the germans get, for having mostly the same capacity (c96 has more, and should hit harder than it does tbh.)

i would 100% support this, especially the m2 to assaulters so my assaulter squad can be pure carbines just need a sniper carbine now

M3 Carbine with IR night vision in eventually Korea campaign, kthnks. XD

Need more of these?

there is also the m1e7 which is a carbine that was tested with the scope

I’m honestly not big on the idea of experimental and prototype weapons being in the main campaign track, if they have to be in the game I’d prefer to see an M1e7 Carbine (not to be confused with the thing that became the M1C Garand) premium sniper squad or have it added to gold orders.

Oh yeah I would prefer it to be a gold order since it’s both unique and a decent side grade to the tech tree snipers I would also need it as a gold order to purge my sniper since he is holding a dirty garand atm

I’m not sure on that, either. My largest complaint at the moment with semi-auto snipers in the game, regardless of which rifle we’re talking about, is that they’re far less accurate than they should be, and a carbine sniper would be basically useless as an actual sniper rifle, and the 3-4x weaver scope they’d put on it would only be a detriment in CQB. Would get that gross rifle out of your carbine squad though XD

i am not joking when i say that only 3 of my 24 soldiers don’t have carbines; they are the BAR gunner, an assaulter with a sten and the sniper

I’ve been playing Germany and I agree they need a major rebalance across the board even their starting weapons are Op If it weren’t for the fact that I hate the Gewehr 43’s iron sights with a passion I’d of played Germany more.

You don’t have to wait for Korea. The M3 with night vision was used in the Okinawa Campaign.

still want a normal scoped m1 carbine for normandy =/

That checks out, didn’t know that! I still hate to imagine night battles where only one side has the night gun though.

Wish in one hand, you know what to do with the other XD

Wouldn’t have to be an issue if my dreams come true and we get some good, dedicated pve modes.

With people on this forum likening the balance concerns of Enlisted to extremely competitive games like Starcraft, whilst others just go on and on about how unskilled everyone wanting balance changes must be, I fear a future plagued by even worse bunny hopping, drop shotting, and that ridiculous leaning thing some players do. I’m a good player, but I don’t want to sweat every match and am too old to give a damn about my video game stat card. As such I’d rather not have to endure CS:GO players in my arcade WW2 bot shooter.

I’m not sure I’m on board with that, unless there’s some serious improvement to the AI behavior. I won’t give it a hard no, but I’m not enthusiastic.

AMEN. The leaning doesn’t bother me, cuz what soldier wouldn’t try to keep as much of themselves behind cover as possible, but the bunny hopping and dropshot shit’s gotta go.
