P38G Still baffles me as to its BR

I am surprised they have not moved it up to a BR of III it completely dominates the BR I and II line up, and really its the only plane to select given all the options the US player has, rendering all the other BR I and II’s hanger Queens.

At least if it were a BR III it would not be truly ubiquitous as it is now…

Having said that I still see a lot of matches where some players are clearly Playing BR IV kit in LVL 1 and II matches, they still have work to do it would seem getting the sorting system to work

P38 at tier 1 is indeed surprising…

If only for 1 reason:

In Pacific, the bugger STARTS IN THE AIR, with high energy already accumulated.

All Japanese planes must start on the carrier… except the newest tier IV fighter.

It’s a tremendous advantage for any flyboy. Thankfully, most p38 pilots, are greenhorns…

Ya the pacific is even worse for Shure, I Think in the pacific all Planes should start in the air or Non of them should, I flew my Ki-61 of a CV for months with no problems.

I really love the carrier concept.

Did you notice they moved resupply zones a bit, placing them closer to carriers?

It’s like a safe zone for pilots, a huge tactical add on.

Also, for good pilots, successfully landing for repairs is really rewarding.

But yes. The problem with p38 being tier 1 is…

Why would any self respecting USA pilot use old carrier based aircrafts anymore? That cute Buffalo? Makes all of those a no go.

Ya, I did, Kinda of, but because I was chasing down a Japanese Plane with my P38 (easy to do with the huge speed advantage) and got Plugged by the CV AA he was heading for the rearm point not the CV.

I do Like being able to land to repair, be nice if they added Air Fields to the other maps

But ya My Buffalow and Boomerang are hanger queens now.

Because commonwealth brother. Would be perfect tier 1, but p38… it’s a no brainer.

Eh. Br is still being tweaked. Last patch it was a bunch of small arms. Maybe next will be some planes? Like the Romanian fighter and lend lease fighter from Stalingrad, and the p38 all being tier 1.

SHHH!!! Commieboos are watching, and their equipment is supposedly really bad and inferior in every way.
