The Allies tree currently have lackluster fighter options for countering hard ground targets at BR 1. The P-40C could provide them with an option for a plane with a 500 lb bomb, on a decent but not too powerful platform.
The vehicle already exists in War Thunder, and can be easily ported to Enlisted. Here are it’s stats:
