OUTLISTED: Exploiters edition

Why not simply deactivating boosters in Custom games ?

This could have prevented such an outburst…

Guess that not Even because u supported the Game they gave You a last opportunity

I think the root cause was a bug that was overlooked and not fixed in the game. The players exploited it, but the bug didn’t progress and seemed rather lazy.

It’s cruel to get banned when You supported the Game

Thats the problem couldnt have You just reitre the ammounts of silver/xp the playerd got?

Does that mean it’s cruel when someone cheats and gets banned just because they supported the game?

Cheating is something different since You affect other ppl

These players where more likely according to the information i got getting tons of xp with weird methods

Yes, and these players themselves knew their actions were forbidden, yet they choose to do it
It’s not like back when customs first launched and people just farmed bots stuck in beloe lake, this is way different

I don’t think these two things are related. But the main point is that I don’t think the fault is this serious. They still have the ability to rollback, fix this bug, let people know about the mistake or apologize on the forum, etc.

Alrigth get your point but dont You think is to hard to ban them

It could have been more than enough than removing the tons of xp and silver and giving them a direct warning

If they exploited once while reporting how they did it, then banning them would have been unfair

Or if they farmed way smaller amounts of silver/XP
But some of these people farmed 100 millions of silver or even more, I think you see the problem now

100 millons of silver which can be removed by doing some simple codes and things like that

The bigger issue is that they had spend that money on the boxes which meant they had gained tons of event items aswell. So what they should have done instead is just raze the accounts of any items they had exept for paid stuff and let people start anew if they chose to.
Odds are they would stop playing on their own but at least they had the choice to start again.

What are these unfair advantages? What is the actuall benifit that a booster can give you?
If its just about score, then that does not matter in the slightest.

Then deduct 1.5 times the amount of silver coins they obtained through abuse, which is definitely a more appropriate punishment measure than banning. The more they abuse, the more they lose, but at least they can still play games.

Most people do not accept banning players without any other punitive measures. You should know that even if it is cheating, the first ban should be limited, and cheating again should result in a permanent ban.

We organized large groups of players in Custom Games to efficiently gain experience. By stacking boosters and optimizing for the match time-based XP cap, we were able to accumulate a massive amount of rewards.

You mean game doesn’t fail 9 out of 10 times you try to create a custom game?
Must be nice.
