Players know best how this game has fared over the years. You haven’t put in real effort—for you, this is just a job, and you can always move on to something else later.
Weekends have always had higher player numbers — what’s so surprising about that?
More people just come to play. But if we’re talking about weekdays, the usual player count was around 4400–4500, and now on a weekday the peak is 5000
Hpws that +500. Weekemd more people but that would be loss…you need to compare same says. Sunday 1 week sunday next week.
Perma ban is the digital equivalent of executing a thief. Definitely overkill.
I don’t really understand how this is an issue. The mortar sucks major peepee.
I don’t care about this at all. The devs should have just fixed the bug.
- If someone keeps pressing ‘V’ from 2 km in air to mark tanks to catch something even with the very bad gfx from far away, is that an exploit to be banned for?
- If I notice someone clipping through walls and then keep them under MG fire using hit marks to orient, is that an exploit?
- If someone gets incinerated through a solid wall, should the opponent flamethrower be banned?
- What about mass killing bots and players diving/stuck into the doors right after spawning (since Tunisia update I think)? Should we bring them water and food instead of killing them?
- When a plane wipes out the soldiers hiding in a bunker by dropping/teleporting the bomb through 1 meter concrete, is that fair use?
For the current ban, I think if they were warned before and still did whatever they did, I’d consider it fair. But if this was something they did not see coming, then it should be only a temporary ban or stat reset. It is not like using aimbots or such, and the game should be fixed (as it happened afterwards).
For a starter can I get a button to disable startup FOMO screen? It is not a mobile game and I’m really not interested in whether I can start up the game every day or not for +50% XP.
None of these cases involve you breaking the game, AI path finding or other mechanics.
No one was punished for using glitches in the event either.
If you do find a glitch that lets you farm millions in minutes, just report it and no one gets banned.
if they were warned before
But the damage is already done, they have farmed billions. If you warn them and they actually stop doing it than you can’t punish them anymore even though it’s obvious that they should not be allowed to keep the things they got by exploits.
How could billions be farmed?? Like how? No amlunt of games would do that surely???
Custom.
Right i GET that… so hows it done, one side has to loose and waste any bonuses claimed…
In fact, I only used the exploit about five times over the past month or two, gaining no more than two million silver in total.
I am playing every day, and I calculated I couldn’t make two millions in less than a month, not five games. This is just sick.

I’d quote the original text for reference:

It’s a super elastic rule, some of my points could be under this clause if we want (we don’t, but still).
Granted, they’ll not let me farm millions, also I did not know these people farmed millions.
If that was the case, a ban might be okay, but also reverting their account to a state half year ago. It did not harm other player’s gaming experience (I think), so a permanent ban felt a bit strong.
The other side does not need to activate them, though. Could just switch who is curring winning. At least that could be one way. Plus, maybe both sides can farm each other long enough to make the winning bonus less notable.
But no custom expert here so not sure what is all possible.
Don’t need to activate it, like can just switch it off til.later like??
Well, if you have enough silvers prior to the abuse, you could technically just buy new chests after each round, at least that is my assumption.
Everyvplayer on earth agrees was an over reaction to ban. Like droping meteors to kill bugs.
Most of the banned players had already completed all their equipment development before being banned, so their accounts were in a state where they didn’t need to worry about development. Among them were my friends, whose accounts had assets worth tens of thousands (not in-game currency) before being banned, and they were quite active. Meanwhile, a few people I know but aren’t my friends didn’t get banned because their accounts were still in the development phase, and their assets were only a few hundred. I saw their accounts were still fine. This made me seriously suspect that the company is using this bug as an excuse to ban accounts that no longer held any value, especially since they had just made a small mistake, making it the perfect opportunity. Moreover, during this discount event, these high-value accounts even spent real money, and the company harvested the last bit of value from these accounts before banning them. If they had been banned right when they started using the bug, I wouldn’t speak up for these accounts, but it happened right after the discount event! And the bans were issued immediately after the event ended—doesn’t that just seem like they wanted to squeeze the last bit of value from these high-value accounts? It feels like the feelings of long-time players don’t matter at all. Seeing my friends go through this, I will never spend real money on my account again. If someday the developers get upset and find an excuse to ban my account, all my efforts would be for nothing!!!
This should have happened much earlier. Most of these people probably also abused the Dutch VPN back then - intentionally.
Any competent person can distinguish between a deliberate explanation of the game and simply stumbling upon bugs.
All of these people deserved to be banned. They devalued the time and resources of people who did not exploit similar bugs.
