During events, you have the option to buy levels with gold without even having to play them and at the end you can buy all of the missing levels. My proposal is having a seperate tab in the shop where you can go to buy the rewards for gold since you can do it anyways during the duration of the event.
If devs don’t like that idea, I suggest extending the window for 2-4 weeks at the end of the events to allow players who may have missed the event to buy the levels for items they want. Let’s face it, some of these events can be long and grindy and life can get in the way from vacations, work, school/exams, health reasons, etc…and the fact that console players can’t easily take thier gear with them as easily as a laptop.
It allows players an opportunity not to miss out on cool event items and in turn, makes Gaijin money. I honestly don’t know why something like this is not already in place.

Personally i don’t think you should be able to pay for event rewards at all, but they should reduce the grind back to 20k for the 25k style events, and maybe drop 20% from the requirements of other tasks as well, and also double the chance for event squads and weapons in the silver box.
They really need a way to allow people to get rewards if you miss half the event…at some point life gets in everyone’s way. If not, the very least they should be grindable like the Saboteur event so you could grind the event in a day.
That would be the best event format. Rewards every 20k, or 25k, but without resetting after 2 days. Some days i get to 24k and i just don’t want to play anymore, and i don’t. So the progress is wasted.
Why not let me play a game or 2 most days, and then i can grind on a weekend and get like 3 levels at once? It’s a bad system to force fomo feelings and addiction

I LOVED the Saboteur format and I hate that when I’m on vacation they always have an event squad I miss.
Agreed. I played for a couple weeks off and on back right before Steam launch and never got a feel for the overall event and economy and all that, and i came back to the game “full time” basically a day or 2 into the Hidden Threat update and thought it was great (the format, not the saboteurs themselves, mind you). I got all 4 with like a week and a half to spare, without ever “trying.” If you are a regular player you should have a pretty good chance to get all the rewards without having a breakdown.
Hell, even increase the reward breakpoints to 30k, and have a “good” reward every 60k, just don’t reset the points are 2 days. I’ve easily lost as many points as I’ve banked in the last 2 events

If it only gives you the option to buy it if you missed out on the event yes. But if its just another way to get additional copies of the event gun ontop of it or not in limited quantity then heck no.
Remember the gold order shop…

No, just for what you missed…not stockpiling weapons…not only do I miss the GO store, but I miss the cap of 4.
